Chapter 3

Lizzie p.o.v

Our first date was a nice picnic on the beach in which he explained to me what is like being a Atlantean and all the things they can do from Marine communication to Hydrokinesis which I found amazing. Skylar slept on the couch that night since he didn't want to leave me and in the morning I found him coming out of the ocean. After having a shower and getting dressed we had some breakfast then spend the day doing random stuff, After 3 weeks of having different dates and doing different activities.

Today I am sitting in the living room watching a movie Skylar had to go so i am alone but he told me he would be back soon when suddenly my phone goes off so I pick of up to see who's calling me only to find its an unknown number so thinking it is my brother I answer it.

(Trigger warning)

----Phone call---

Lizzie - hello?

Trevor - hello Lizzie

I gasp in horror, my eyes widen and my heartbeat speeds up as does my breathing.

Lizzie - Trevor?

Trevor - nice place y.......

I quickly hang up the phone then I feel my hair getting grabbed I am thrown to the floor I look up to see Trevor standing there I try to move but am frozen in fear.

Trevor - remember you can never escape from me. You deserve this you little slut!!!

He jumps on top of me and trys to wrapping both of his hands around my neck I try to fight him but unfortunately he gets them around my throat squeezing tighter and tighter I struggle to breathe as I fight back but he knees me in the stomach. My vision starts to go blurry and I can't breathe before I feel my neck I scream out that one persons.

Lizzie - Skylar!!!!!

Suddenly I am in darkness feel myself getting gentle shaked and a voice calling my name.

Skylar - Lizzie wake up!

I bolt awake breathless and covered in sweat I panic a little before I look to see a concerned Skylar sitting in front of me, there are my favourite chocolates on the table and on the TV are the end credits from the movie I was watching. Skylar's voice causes me to look at him. I must have fallen asleep half way though the film.

Skylar - Lizzie are you ok?

Lizzie - yeah bad dream.

Skylar - wanna talk about it? Do you need anything?

I put my hand on my throat.

Lizzie - water

My throat feels so dry no wasting any time Skylar goes to the kitchen after a few minutes he cones back with a glass of cold water and hands it to me. He sits beside me rubbing my back calming me down once I am calm enough I tell him what happened.

Skylar - He won't touch you.

Lizzie - I am scared he will find me Skylar.

Skylar - he won't I will make sure he never hurts you again, oh yeah before i forget I've got something for you.

He goes into his pocket, pulls out a little box and hands it too me I give him a confused look before opening the box. I gasp as I see the most beautiful necklace I have ever seen I see Skylar has a nervous smile on his face as I pick up the necklace and place it in my hand.
