Chapter 17

Lizzie p.o.v

I wake up to a bright light shining in my eyes looking around I see that i am in a room but not any old room "my room". Throwing the blankets off me I swing my legs round sitting there I start to remember everything that's happened the past few days and the sound of the gun shot is still ringing in my ears, Gabriel's body on the ground, me passing out and...........the sickness feeling suddenly comes back causing me to rush to my bathroom. Reaching the toilet once again I empty the contents of my stomach when I am done I wash my mouth out then there is a knock on the door.

Skylar - baby what's the matter are you sick?

Lizzie - don't come in here I don't want you to see me like this.

I yell back to him its true I don't want him to see me leaning over a sink after emptying my guts unfortunately the door opens and in steps Skylar who comes over to me placing his hands on my bare hips since i am only wearing a shirt and panties I can feel him giving lightly kisses my neck.

Skylar - in my eyes you are always beautiful not matter what.

There's a little smile on my face.

Lizzie - you are always such a charmer.

Skylar - only for you my love.

God how I've missed his touch as I can feel him rubbing his hand over my hips but when he presses his chest against my back I flinch sightly which doesn't go unnoticed.

Skylar - lizzie I know you won't be ready to talk about it but I just want you to know that I will be here for you and he will never touch you again I've made sure of that.

What does he mean that? I am almost afraid to ask but I need to know the answer.

Lizzie - did you kill him?

Skylar - no but I was close too, I banished him to an unescapeable prison under the sea.

So he didn't kill him good I didn't want Trevor's blood on Skylar's hands like that I up to look at him from the mirror once my eyes meet his I can see it he wants to know what Trevor done to me and why I flinched when he touched my back so I give him a slight nod letting him know that its ok to look. He slowly pulls up my shirt he only has it half way up when I hear him gasp a little before he pulls it back down.

Skylar - I should have killed him.

His tone is anger I turn to face him his face is full of it.

Lizzie - Skylar please enough blood has been spilled on his account.

Then I remember about Gabriel.

Lizzie - I killed Gabriel.

I put my head down in shame, my eyes start to water Skylar's hand goes on my cheeks gentling lifting being my face up to look at him.

Skylar - listen to me Lizzie you didn't kill him.

Lizzie - but.......

Skylar puts both hands onto my cheeks.

Skylar - baby you didn't put that gun in his hand so don't blame yourself I am sorry that I left you.

Lizzie - it wasn't your fault you had to go. We can't change the past now tho but we can have a better future now. He won't come back right?

He smiles and wraps his arms around my waist.

Skylar - there is no escape from where is my love my father made sure of that.

Lizzie - your father knows about me?

Skylar - yes he's happy for me and he wishes to meet you as does my sister.

His father and sister want to meet me? The king of Atlantis?

Lizzie - when?

Skylar - when you are fully rested

Lizzie - speaking of siblings where is mine?

Skylar - living room....

Just then there is a knock on my bedroom door and Silas voice comes.

Silas - Lizzie, Skylar? Come to the living room there's something you should know.

I call back.

Lizzie - ok be there soon.

Me and Skylar share a kiss before I get changed into my clothes then with Skylar walking hand in hand we go the living room. When we turn the corner Dakota is next to Silas who is on the phone and has her hand on his leg, while hazel was chatting with........Orin no way I clear my throat causing them to look our way. Silas has a upset look on his face but why.

Lizzie - Silas why are you so upset?

Silas stands up and hands me the phone.

Silas - its the hospital Gabriel is in.

With shaky hands I take the phone and bring it up to my ear

---Phone call---

Lizzie - hello?

Hospital doctor - is this miss Lizzie Wayne?

Lizzie - Speaking who may I ask is this?

Hospital doctor - this is Doctor Davidson I am calling you to talk to you about your father........

My father?

Lizzie - but I don't understand my father died 15 years ago.

Hospital doctor - I am afraid that's untrue after taking blood tests and running them though our system we found that Mr Gabriel Turner is your father.

I couldn't believe it as the doctor tells me that Gabriel is my father and he is in stable condition but he's still unconscious so I ask what hospital he's at which they tell me after I hang up I look to the one person who needs answers as much as I do.

Lizzie - Silas?

He has his back to me I can hear him sniffling and his hands are shaking when he turns he had a cold expression on his face.

Silas - let's go.

He walks to the door and goes out Dakota follows him in a pissed off mood why do I feel like I've lost brother? Hazel and Orin go back to hers I lean on Skylar who's as shocked as me by all of this. I grab my keys and other stuff before heading out the door locking it behind us when we get out there Silas is in his car arguing with Dakota I couldn't hear what Silas was saying but Dakota I could heat loud and clear.

Dakota - what the fuck is the matter with you!!!

Dakota - She is still your sister!!

Dakota - god you are pig headed!!!

Dakota - I am riding with lizzie and Skylar

Dakota - screw you Silas you are meant to be her brother and protect her not abandon her!!!

She stomps over to us.

Dakota - can I ride with you?

Lizzie - sure.

She quickly wraps her arms around me.

Dakota - your brother is such a ass.

Lizzie - I don't know what's going on with hom he's never like that with me. Maybe its the shock of everything.

Skylar speaks up wrapping his arm around my waist rubbing his hand on my hips

Skylar - let's get to the hospital first then we can worry.

We got into my jeep and started off with Silas behind us time to find out what's going on.
