Lizzie p.o.v

Getting back later that night I asked Skylar if it would be ok to ask his mum about Atlantean pregnancy he said he would send a message to her I was nervous about the whole thing but I will love my child no matter what. When we are in the living room after having dinner I suddenly get a idea in my head so I excuse myself to and I go to my room where I take out my phone and dial Mr Simpsons number and he picks up on the third ring.

--- Phone call ---

Mr Simpson - hello Mr Simpson speaking.

Lizzie - hello Mr Simpson its Lizzie Wayne.

Mr Simpson - ah yes I was excepting your call but not this soon. How are you feeling?

Lizzie - I am better now thank you.

Mr Simpson - so what can I do for you at this late hour?

Lizzie - I was wondering about the money would I be aloud to help out my friend with it?

Mr Simpson - what exactly do you mean by that?

Lizzie - well......

I explain to him the situation with Hazel and getting her baby back.

Mr Simpson - I see well as I have said before the money belongs to yourself so you may do what you wish with it so if that is what you want then yes.

Lizzie - thank you Mr Simpson.

Mr Simpson - you are most welcome and just for the record that would be a nice thing to do for your friend.

We talk for a while as he gives me some legal advice on this situation then he asked to have Hazel's number to contact her and offered to take the case for nothing which shocked me. There's a knock on the door and it slowly opens a concerned Skylar pokes his head in I wave my  hand telling him to come in which he does and seeing I am on the phone he sits on the bed beside me i slide myself on to his lap and he wraps his arm around me so I don't slide off.

--- still on the phone ---

Lizzie - well I am taken up so much of your night I should end this call now thank you for your time Mr Simpsons.

Mr Simpson - it was no problem miss Wayne, have a nice night and I will contact miss Griffin tomorrow about the case.

Lizzie - I will let her know to except your call, goodnight Mr Simpson.

Mr Simpson - good night miss Wayne.

I hang up the phone and look to Skylar.

Skylar - what was that about?

I don't know if Skylar remembers or not but there is no time like the present to tell him I know he doesn't trust her and feels like she is hiding something so maybe this will clear things up.

Lizzie - did you remember that thing about Hazel and her baby?

Skylar - yeah what about it?

I wrap my hands around his neck being careful not to hurt his gills or his neck.

Lizzie - well I was on the phone to Mr Simpson and I was planning to help her out by getting some legal advice on the situation and he had offered to take the case for her.

Skylar - wow that's a nice thing to do for her baby I am proud of you just promise me you will take it easy.

He rubs my belly where my bump will soon be.
