Hello!! Let me know if you're enjoying the sequel so far. I'm trying to include Lilia and Lev a lot too!

Arthur had no problem pinning down his little sister and letting her work her own energy out. He only let her go when she was out of breath and limp against the ground.
A week later, Kat sat by him pouting while he packed multiple suitcases.
"It's not fair," she grumbled over and over again.
"If you don't listen to dad, we're both going to be in trouble," Arthur answered shortly. He threw in all of his socks and underwear on top of everything before moving on to another suitcase. Kat watched the way he packed with disgust.
"But—"
"You're thirteen, Kat. You have to understand it from mom and dad's perspective. And you're a Lycan. You can't go," Arthur's voice grew softer and Kat nodded somberly. He finished the rest of his packing in silence except for the music Kat had begun to blast in her room. A short moment later, he heard his mom's voice and the music turn down.
His phone rang with Thea's name as he was zipping up his second suitcase. Kat left with a roll of her eyes as the phone was put on speaker.
"My dad's making me go on a trip to another pack," Thea rushed out before Arthur could even speak.
"O-kay," Arthur trailed. "When are you getting back?"
"That's the thing, he said it'll be a week, maybe two," Thea sighed. Arthur bit his lip, leaned his head back to stare at the ceiling, and groaned.
"Maybe he can move it?"
"The other pack is scheduling this meeting, not us. Apparently, this is the only time they can meet," Silence came on the other end of the line, "I won't go. I'll hide from my dad—"
"Thea, you know he'd find you in an instant," Arthur laughed.
"I want to be here when you leave," she whispered. The smile wiped off of Arthur's face.
"Don't worry about it. We're going to call every day anyway. It's not a problem," he tried to assure, but he'd wanted her to be there too. "Focus on your dad and Alpha duties. I'll be back before you know it."
"I'm sorry," Thea said softly.
"Everything will be great. I'm guessing you leave today?"
"Yeah, I'm heading to the car now. I guess I'll...see you soon?"
"Try not to blink," Arthur teased, "you'll miss the whole trip. It will go by fast, I promise. Drive safe."
"Bye," Thea hung up and Arthur was left staring at his phone. He tossed it onto the bed and ran a hand through his hair, but he couldn't get himself back in the mood to pack. Arthur moved each suitcase aside and sat down next to his phone.
Time passed slower when he wasn't around Thea. When he was with her, he made every moment count and it still moved faster than waiting for the day to leave to come around.
Finally, after a few days, it was time to leave.
A teary Lilia stood with Lev on the front porch, Kat pouting behind them and Arthur putting his last suitcase in the car he was taking. There would be a few warriors traveling with him as well because of his Lycan status. He could protect himself, but it made both Alpha Blaton and the Council feel better if he traveled like this, so he allowed it.
Arthur first hugged a blubbering Lilia. She immediately grabbed a hold of her son and clenched him so tightly Arthur feared he would never be able to leave. He'd miss her.
"Be safe," Lilia whispered into his chest. "Come back with your mate soon."
"You know I'll be safe. I just hope I find them," Arthur pulled back and smiled wryly at his mom. His father pulled him into a hug next, patting his back and reiterating what his mother had said.
"Don't be afraid to call. If anything happens, call me. I'll be right there," Lev murmured. His heart felt like it was in his throat watching his first-born leave like this. When he was born, Lev practically held him until he was an early teen.
"I will," Arthur smiled to assure at his father. Kat harrumphed and turned away from him as soon as they made eye contact. Arthur stepped forward and rubbed her head roughly. She turned around and smacked his hand away, rolling her eyes. "I'll see you soon."
"Uh huh," Kat said bluntly and turned away from him again. Arthur turned his back and only made it a foot until Kat jumped on his back into a big hug.
"Be safe," she murmured before she hopped back down and went into the house. As he found himself driving away from them, he looked in the rearview mirror to see Kat plastered against the window and his mother and father in a sad embrace. Why did he feel so miserable? Arthur rubbed at his chest as he drove closer to the border, but nothing relieved the discomfort.
"How long is the trip?" He asked the warrior in the car.
"About seven hours and—" the man was cut off by the car in front of them swerving and skidding to a halt, forcing their car to drive near the woods in order to stop on time. The hood of the car stopped just short of a large tree trunk and both Arthur and the warrior were rattled. Arthur was the first one out of the car and ran in front of the enforcers to see what had caused them to stop.
Thea's wolf was there, bite marks in her chest and all down each of her legs. Arthur ran, not letting any of the warriors stop him, and knelt beside his best friend.
"Thea?" He begged. "Thea, can you hear me?" It looked like she had just fallen unconscious right inside the border and right in front of their cars.
"I'm here," came from her mind but her eyes were still shut.
"This hurts like a bitch!"
