'Visiting' Niki

Tommy couldn't sleep so he decided to go for a midnight walk on the prime path. As he was walking he felt like he was being watched. "Tommy" Tommy gasped and turned around quickly to see that no one was there. Was he hearing things? He continued his walk and brushed it off. It sounded like Dream but he took no notice. "Tommy" He turned around again to see... Dream. "N-no" Tommy said, he couldn't move, he dropped to the floor, crawling into a wall whilst holding his arms above his head.

"Tommy?". "Please d-dont hurt m-me". "Tommy I'm not going to hurt u" Tommy felt hands touch his arms, it wasn't muscular and strong hands that he expected, instead it was soft and gentle. He looked up to see Niki with a worried face. "N-Niki?" He said shakily whilst lowering his arms a bit. "W-where is he?" Tommy said, not calming down. "Where's who?" Niki asked, crouching down in front of him. "D-dream" Tommy began to panic more at his name. "Dreams in prison, it's ok come here" Niki said, pulling Tommy up and into a hug whilst she walked him into her cafe where she lived. She sat him down and gave him a blanket.

She then hugged him again. "Are you ok, what happened?" She asked. "I-I saw him, h-he was t-there" Tommy stuttered out. "Tommy no one was there, it's ok" She said in a comforting way whilst rubbing small circles on his back. "A-are u sure" Tommy said, calming down. "I'm sure, do u want anything" Tommy shook his head. "Why were u out this late anyway?" "Couldn't sleep". "Oh" They sat there hugging for a while. They both eventually fell asleep.

Niki was the first to wake up. She looked at her phone to see it was 8:37am. She got up without waking up Tommy to make herself breakfast. [knock knock knock] She walked over to the door to see a very worried Tubbo. "Morning Tubbo" "Good morning Niki, have u seen Tommy?" Tubbo said, panicking a bit.

"Yes he's over there, he's asleep so please be quiet" Tubbo sighed in relief, nodded and walked in. "Have u had breakfast yet?" Niki asked. "No, I woke up and went to check on Tommy only to see he was gone, so I started to panic. I then went to everyone's house to see if he was there and now I'm here" Tubbo explained.

Niki then made breakfast for Tubbo as well. She made them both pancakes. "Why is he here?" Tubbo asked. "He said he was going for a walk because he couldn't sleep, then saw Dream and started to panic, I then walked outside because I heard crying and saw Tommy shaking up against the house so I brought him in and he fell asleep" Niki explained. Tubbo nodded and sat down at the table, eating his pancakes with Niki opposite him. After breakfast, they both talked outside so they didn't wake Tommy up.

TIME SKIP 9:03am

Tommy woke up only to realise he wasn't at home. He didn't remember what happened but realised he was at Nikis house/cafe. Why was he there? He got up and walked outside to see them both chatting. "Oh, good morning Tommy" Niki said cheerfully. "Morning, why am I here?" Tommy questioned. Niki then explained the same thing she said to Tubbo. Tommy then remembered, remembered seeing Dream there, walking towards him as he was against the wall. *What a baby, can't even face someone without crying* Tommy thought. But it all seemed so real, like he was actually there. "Hello, earth to Tommy" Tubbo laughed.

"Huh what? Sorry" Tommy apologised. "It's ok, u want pancakes?" Niki asked, walking back inside, the 2 boys following. "Yes please". Niki walked back over to the kitchen to make Tommy breakfast whilst the other 2 sat on the sofa to chat. "Please don't do that ever again, my soul left my body when I saw u weren't there" Tubbo said, laughing a bit. "Ok I won't" Tommy said also laughing as they both hugged. 

"Breakfast is ready!" Niki shouted from the kitchen. They both sat down at the table along with Niki. "So what actually happened?" Tubbo asked.

"Well I was walking and I heard my name, it sounded like, 'him' I decided to ignore it. I then continued walking until I heard it again, I turned around to see 'him' standing there, a netherite axe in his right hand whilst he walked towards me. I started to panic and couldn't move until I was able to drop to the floor and back up into the wall" Tommys breathing was picking up as he was explaining it.

"Well it's ok now, he hasn't escaped and is never going to" Tubbo said calmly *I can't tell them about the book yet, they would think I'm an idiot* Tommy thought. "Yeah ur probably right" Tommy agreed. They then left to go back home after thanking Niki for 1. Taking care of Tommy and 2. Making them breakfast. As they were walking back they both sat on the bench and listen to Mellohi whilst looking out into the sky.

"What's on ur mind big man" Tubbo asked, worried about his best friend. "There is still a lot of things I want to tell u but whenever I tell people something that happened it's like I relive it in my head" Tommy explained. "Well I'm always here whenever u want to talk" Tubbo said comfortingly. "Thank you Tubbo" "No need to thank me, that's what besties are for" Tubbo said smiling. They both laughed and looked at the sky again.

Tubbo went home to Snowchester, leaving Tommy alone with his thoughts. He wanted Tubbo to stay but he didn't want to worry Tubbo again or bother him. He decided to go to the nether for netherite since he didn't feel like stealing. Once through, the portal he felt the warm air hit his face, he hated it but loved it at the same time.

He looked down at the lava, remembering. He pushed that thought aside and continued with his mining trip. At the end he had found 4 ancient debris. He then went home. He didn't take notice of the lava and left. The cold air refreshing him. It was now getting kinda dark so he hurried back. He liked that trip, he was only focussing on one thing instead of a million at once. He put the debris into the crafting table with some gold and crafted an ingot, he then made dinner. After he ate, he put the ingot into his end chest, then went to bed.

WHAT WE THINKING OF THE STORY SO FAR??

Why did I pick for Tommy to stop at Nikis house? Because she seemed like a fitting character to add since she would seem like a good person for that moment.
