Got inspired by a fan art but i cant remember who is the artist. ::)
Note: im going to change bits in the myth for my plot.

Medusa was cursed by the goddess athena for she defiled her holy temple so the story goes.

Thats the myth of medusa armin, 
The old man said as he closed the book. Wait but grandpa wasnt medusa the victim why is she the one being punished.. Thats unfair..?? Armin the inquisitive teenage boy asked his grandfather.
Well..Yes but back then it was unthinkable to punish a God like poseidon so..athena punished medusa.. And that is wrong justice was never served just because poseidon held the power.  The world is like that armin.. Its unfair and cruel to the weak. The old man explained.

I hate that.. I hate that injustice like that happens..i wanna give medusa a hug.. Armin said while looking down.

The comment put a smile on his grandfather's face as he ruffled armin's hair, my boy.. You cant give medusa a hug.. Remember? Anyone who dares to look in her cold stare turns into stone.

I know.. Still.. I think she deserves a hug.. Maybe her eyes are cold because of all the pain and suffering she went through.. Armin said.

Ahh you really are a sweet natured boy! If only medusa could have met you.. His grandfather said.

---------5 years later-------------

Armin was now 20 years old, he just got off the plane and was welcomed by his friends at the airport. He was often away from his homeland due to his job as a traveller.

While he was at the restaurant with his friends celebrating his return, he got a phone call from an unknown number.
He answered it and what the caller told him got him running out of the restaurant and immediately rushing towards his car and driving to the nearest hospital.

Nurse! Excuse me! My grand father where is he?! Armin asked as sweat dropped in his head he felt like he couldnt breathe.

Name? The nurse asked.
It's Arlert, armin replied.
Oh- um.. Come with me.  The nurse said as she took him to a  dim lighted room, there were many beds and the people laying on them were all covered in white sheets - they were at the hospital morgue he realised as his eyes widened in horror realising that his grandfather... NO he thought the nurse might just have brought him to the wrong room! Thats right a wrong turn.. Armin told himself as he refused to accept reality.

Umm.. I-i think you made a wrong turn miss.. My g-grandfather c-cant be in the hospital morgue he said in a shaky voice. The nurse shook her head and went to the 1st bed she then took off the covers slightly and was enough to reveal his grandfather's pale face.

Armin clenched his teeth together refusing to believe that's his grandfather but no matter how much he denies it to himself... He knows that's reality his grandpa is gone.

The nurse then bowed apologetically Your grandfather's cause of death was a heart attack.. Im so sorry for your loss.. The nurse bowed once again as she excused herself out.

Leaving armin to weep beside his grandpa's corpse. He then felt his phone ring it was mikasa, he answered the phone and on the other line was eren. Dude! Armin why did you leave like that?! What happened where are you? Mikasa and I are looking everywhere for you!

E-eren.. I-its grandpa..armin said as his grip on the phone shook while his other hand was trying to cover up the sobs and hiccups he was having.

What happened to gramps?!? Eren asked worried.

H-he's g-gone.. Armin couldnt hold it any longer he broke down and both of his childhood friends       heard his cries and denial as they hurriedly rushed to the hospital.
