For the last fucking time hitch, no. i don't wanna work in THAT cafe.  I annoyingly told my best friend who kept bothering me on a part time job.

Cmon annie, i know you're short in cash right now and our cafe needs an employee that's  a win win for everyone if you accept the job!  Hitch whined.

hitch... Remember my ex that i told you about?  I sighed not wanting to bring HIM up again..but to make hitch understand i guess i have to.

Hm? Yeah i remember..the love your life, and you guys met and dated on this special cafe blah blah and then he broke up with you cuz his parents wanted  him to join them in the states and focus on his studies-OH OHhH

The Cafe... You guys dated and met on... Is OUR CafE?!  Damn... Hitch stares at me in realization.
I internally face palm as hitch finally caught on.

So you understand now why i don't wanna do that job...?  I give hitch an irritated look.

Hmm yeah.... But cmon he's  no longer here anyway!  And the cafe is under new management andd the place  had changed it's  look because of that. Soo pleasee annie? for your bestie...? Hitch pleaded with me making a puppy face ew.

Fine. If you'll stop annoying me fine I'll  do it... But why do you wanna recruit me so bad? I ask her.

Yay thank you so much Annie! Well- my manager marlo,  told me that if i could recruit someone  for the cafe he'll give me a raise! hitch cheerfully tells me.

Oh that's why.  Well....i guess hitch does have a point,  i do need money and the cafe has probably changed since i last went there....hopefully it doesn't bring up anymore unpleasant memories....

So I'll  tell marlo that you're  gonna work for us tomorrow and i think you can start next week!  Again~Thank youu so much annie! Hitch smiled from ear to ear,  dragging me with  her to go shopping.

*The Next Monday timeskip*

I stared at the cafe's entrance, hitch is such liar...  Nothing really  seemed to change that much.. Just a few minor details. I sighed well too late to back down now.

I entered the cafe, And every memory of him hit me like a train.  The table we always sat on,  the black coffee i order.. His favorite frappe.. Even the ambiance of the place reminded me of him...  NO annie leonhardt you have moved on!  This place... It's  just an ordinary cafe now nothing special anymore.

I met hitch at the staff room she gave me the uniform and told me  what i have to do.

*A week later*

I've  done pretty well working in the shop so far aside from the flashbacks i get from time to time   everything was alright.

Hitch then excitedly tapped my shoulder,  What is it now hitch?  I ask.

Annie~ Our new boss arrived today!  Andd i heard he's  pretty hot~ He's  talking to marlo Right  now at his office and i heard all of us employees will meet him later in the staff room!  hitch grins.

And I'm supposed to care how? So what if he's  hot,  i just work for him and that's  it. I bluntly  replied.

Annie you're no fun. Hmph this is why you'll  be single forever.  Hitch sticks her tongue out.

Hitch...  I'm not looking for someone who's "just" hot  i want someone who'll  accept me just as i am flaws and everything. I told her while continuing to clean the countertop.
