The sunlight hits your eyes while you try to catch up with Hakon with quick steps, even though he was trying walk a little slower, so you didn't have to run. He had tried to slow down a few times when he could hear your high-heeled shoes start to go faster, but he always ended up speeding up again.
"So y/n, where did you go?"
You look up at him, causing you look him straight in the eye. He had a kind of interest in them, like he actually really wanted you to tell about it. "I uhm, I went to Midgard"
"I always wanted to go there, its such an amazing place. I will look forward to hear you tell about it"
"What?" You stop and look up at him with confusion in your eyes. "Yeah, under the dinner. We are meant to tell about the realm we were sent to"
He grabbed your hand and almost pulled you away towards the hall. Of course you wanted to go down and eat with the royals, but of course you had forgotten all about the speech you had to give.
Of course, the Allfather probably knew a lot about Midgard, he had probably been there too, but that does not mean you could skip the speech. To be honest, you were probably the only asgardian under two thousand years, who had been to Midgard.
The thoughts was running around in your head as the doors into the great hall opened. The gold in the room was hit by the sun's long rays and lit up the whole room.
A long table was placed in the middle of the room. The table had one of the finest tablecloths of white silk on and around the edge of it was white lace. The dew was covered with silver cutlery and a silver plate, just above the talker core were the most shiny crystal glasses.
Each plate had a little golden piece of paper lying on it, with the names of each realm. You slowly walk around the table to find the plate with a piece of paper with Midgard on it.
You sat down in the surprisingly comfortable chair. The fabric felt like cotton.
Little by little, the rest of the guests enter the hall, the girls in long dresses and the boys in some form of leather and metal. They all sit down at the table, you end up sitting beside a girl in a long red dress and black hair, and facing the guy you only meet half an hour ago, Hakon.
They are all talking with each other. So you thought you would try to get to know the girl in the red dress better. You ented up finding out a lot about her. You leaned that she was the was the daughter of Friggas personal maids, and that she went to Alfheim.
After talking with her in a couple of minutes, you turn to Hakon only to see that he was almost dying to see the royal family.
The door to the room was opened by the guards and the Allfather came into the room with the queen beside him. Soon after them came their two sons in, Thor and Loki, walking beside each other. They had both changed in the last two years.
Thor looked to have gotten taller and had he trained? At least it looked like that and the hair, it probably got longer. He looked very excited as he gave you a small wave.
Loki looked more like if he was bored, as if he had been forced to come. A smile first appeared on his face when he saw you, when he saw that Thor gave you a little wave he also gave you one. It was almost sync.
As the family sat down at the table, the food was served and talking began. Thor and Loki seemed to be talking to each other, you could not hear their conversation as you sat the other end of the table, but you had a strong feeling that they were talking about you.
The evening went with history about the different realms, some of the others had only been there one day, due to the environment and how it would be physically impossible for them to be there for a long time, and about how some had been there for two years.
Thor also got to put a few stories in about his fights, while Loki just rolled his eyes at him. The first time he rolled his eyes made you choke on your drink, causing everyone to look at you.
Definitely not awkward at all.

"Seriously Loki, they were all looking at me. It was your father and mother, the Allfather and the queen! Making me laugh like that in front of them, are you mad"
"Possibly" he laughs.
You giggle as you playfully punched him in the arm, the same time Thor entered the garden. He looked at you and Loki confused. "What's so funny?" You happy turn around to see Thor standing under one of the most green tree you seen in a long time.
You give him a big hug while telling him about how embarrassed you were after Loki made you choke in your drink in the middle of the dinner.
Time go by and you tell Thor and Loki about your days on Midgard, about how Asgard would look like heaven to the Midgardians, if they were sitting under the green tree like you were now.
"You know, we should do something tomorrow" you look at them.
"I can't. My father expect that i am present at one of the meetings tomorrow"
You look over at Thor with a bit of disappointment in your eyes. Then you look over at Loki with a more hopeful look. "Sorry y/n-"
"God, why are you guys always busy?!" You say as you get of the ground and starts walking towards the entrance to the garden.
"Okay. tomorrow, 8pm at this tree.." you point at the tree they were sitting under. "... don't be late, boys"
