"Mama! What happened next?" A high pitched voice intruded the silence of my pause. "Esme!" I giggled as a tiny little girl with big blue eyes and bright blonde hair crawled into my lap. "Mama tell me! tell me!" As I was about to answer a deep voice that I loved to hear answered first, "You happened Esme and then Asher. " Roland poke the little boy who was giggling in his arms on his nose, which made him giggle even more. "Roland, you summed that up too much." I smiled up at him as he walked over set Asher next to his sister on my lap. Asher had Roland's eyes and hair, but my complexion, while Esme had Roland's complexion. "We got married first and finished school." Roland sat on the arm of the chair and nodded, "That we did." I giggled and heard the doorbell ring. Esme and Asher looked up and Esme ran to the door, wow she has a lot of energy for a seven year old. I stood up holding Three year old Asher in my arms and walked to the front door. "Mama, papa, hurry up! Grandma and grandpa are here!" I laughed and opened the door revealing my mother and father-in-law, Wendy and Derek, behind it. Esme ran into Wendy's arms and Asher reached out for Derek and I handed him to him. Wendy looked up at me and smiled, "Movie night is always lively, huh?" I nodded and they walked in and sat on the couches while Roland brought out the platter of ice cream and set it on the coffee table. "What movie won tonight dear?" Wendy asked as Esme crawled from her lap and into Roland's. "The spinner tonight land on 'Alice in Wonderland'." Derek and Wendy smiled at each other as I lasted my head on Roland's shoulder and Wrapped my arms around Asher, who had crawled into my lap. Roland looked down at me, Indie in wonderland, huh?" I smiled up at him and kiss his cheek. "And you're my mad hatter." He smiled back at me, "Wouldn't want it any other way."
