Taking a Day Off

After avoiding a rough night by hiding at his ship, Y/n returned to Home Base to find Rias and her brother, Sirzechs, talking in the main living room

"Oh, hey man. You still up for paintball this weekend?"
"Unfortunately I have to decline. With the summit coming up, I can't have as many days off as usual"
"Damn. You will be able to play in the finals though right?"
"Will they be after the summit?"
"It should be"
"In which case yes, I won't let our team down"
"You play paintball with him as well?"
"Of course. Y/n believe it would be a good way to ease the tensions between the factions. A way to help understand our opponents perspectives if you will, and I must say, it was a brilliant idea"
"Imma be completely real with you, I just really wanted to be known as the guy who managed to get angels and devils on the same paintball team"
"Well, either way it's helped to keep us in check"
"Yeah. So why are you here anyway?"
"I'm sure you're aware that open house Begins soon. I thought I should be there to get to know my sister's school, especially since that's where the summit will be taking place"
"The summits gonna be at the school? I should disable my traps then"
"Your what?"
"Oh, nothing. Don't worry about it, it's just something you don't need to worry about. Not at all. So, where are you staying then? I'm guessing it's some five star hotel?"
"Actually, I haven't sorted that out yet. I don't suppose I could stay here for the night, could I?"
"Of course! Mi casa es tu casa, make yourself at home. Just be careful not to scare the angels, they're the only ones who know how to use a washing machine without breaking it"
"I see. Very well. Now onto more important business. I hope your ship will no longer be of any issue?"
"Of course not. I've got 2B guarding it personally"
"The Android that attacked it in the first place? You would trust it with the most powerful ship in the world?"
"Her. And yes, I do. She was able to invade it with nothing more than the French, so I'm sure she can handle it"
"That's not my concern. What's to stop her taking it over again?"
"Me. All I have to do is hop over and beat the shit out of her if she does. She even agreed to it"
"I see. However, you will be held accountable for any damage caused by it"
"Of course. Wait, that doesn't involve the bridge incident does it?"
"No"
"Okay, good. Anyway, just ask Kalawarner or Mittelt, they'll show you to one of the free rooms"

Y/n made his way down to the basement, not really caring that the other two were following,

"I just came by to grab something. Just need to grab something strong enough to power my next project, and it'll all be good"

He flipped a hidden switch, revealing yet another hidden room, in which were countless shelves of various items, from crystals to skulls to weapons to strange devices

"This is a large collection of illegal items, Y/n"
"Well, I don't wanna brag, but I'm a very good collector. I only had to pay for about two of them"
"So they were given to you?"
"No, I'm not a communist, I'm a thief. Besides, I'm going to use these for much better uses than what they would have done"
"And that is?"
"Using them for weapons of mass destruction, and of course my amazing vehicles. Ah! Here we go! Warp Speed Accelerator! Bingo!"
"And what, may I ask, are you planning to do with that?"
"Well, for starters, put a British flag on every planet I can get to. Then I don't know, maybe something that'll help when the next warmongering cuck comes along"
"Is this what you have to deal with every day?"
"Unfortunately yes, it is"
"Well, I'm afraid these will have to be confiscated"
"Confiscated, really? I'd like to see you try"

With the snap of his fingers, every item disappeared from the shelves, leaving the room barren and bare.

"Now, as fun as it would be to see you take my hard earned materials from my other, much more secure base, I'm not gonna let that happen. So, I'm gonna go work on my thing, have a sandwich, and maybe go out to town when that's done"
