We told George and Daisy exactly what we'd heard. George was lying on his bed, Daisy sat on the end. I was sitting cross-legged on Alexander's bed, and he was leaning against the headboard. When we had finished explaining, Daisy pursed her lips thoughtfully.

"Interesting, enough." She said.

I rolled my eyes.

"Take out your casebook and pen, Hazel; and write down what we just discussed."

I obeyed, and joined Alexander at the head of the bed.

"So" I began. "We know that the voices belonged to Nancy and Francis."

"Yes, yes chop chop!"

"Be patient, Daisy!" said Alexander.

I bit down a smile, and began to write.
