The next thing that happened was a blur. All I remember was rushing out of the cafeteria; nothing on my mind except the urge to find Jazz right away. Walking through deserted corridors as everyone was at lunch. I bumped into a few people but didn't even bother to say sorry. I ran towards Jazz's Geography class, banged on the door and burst in before I had permission to enter.

"Sorry to burst in sir but I was looking for Jazz. Is she here?" I asked panting slightly.

"Young lady you do not burst through the door and start asking questions without permission to even enter the classroom!" Mr Lewis said.

"Oh just answer the question will you?" I yelled. "Please." I finished the sentence off timidly. "It's really important."

He sighs, "She came here but I sent her away because she was late for her detention so she has one afterschool."

"Thank-you," I muttered before dashing out the classroom.

How the hell was I going to find her now?

I walked briskly along the corridor keeping a sharp eye out for a speck of blonde. I was searching for about 10 minutes and I was getting more and more frustrated. The more I kept on searching the more I was tempted to call her. But what was I say? Hey Jazz where the hell are you, I need to talk to you about snogging a boy that I may or may not like.

Did I just say that?

I groaned as I walked down another deserted corridor. There was only 5 more minutes left of lunch and I had the whole school to look for Jazz. She was probably shoving her tongue down Alec's throat again. I cringed at the thought. I didn't want to think of that. I couldn't think of that. My best friend and the school's bad boy slash manwhore.

I decided to give up and I made my way back to the cafeteria. But luck was not on my side and as I was turning a corner I happen to see my two favourite people at the time (note the sarcasm again).

Jazz was leaning against the wall talking to Alec; their heads low in conversation. She was smiling whilst twirling her hair. Alec seemed to be smirking and had his hand leaning against the wall, his biceps bulging. My eyes widen as I saw Jazz touching up his arms biting her lip as she did it. I felt bile rise in my throat and suddenly I couldn't take it anymore.

I marched over there, anger boiling in me. The both sprang apart when they saw me.

"Hey Lea," she smiled at me.

"Don't hey Lea me. Why didn't you tell me?" I nearly shouted in her face.

"What are you talking about?" she asked.

I could tell by the way she was shifting one foot to the other that she was nervous.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about. You and him," I jerked my thumb towards Alec.

"I don't under-"

"Save it. Jodie told me everything. That you and him were making out the day I was sent home." I could feel the tears forming but I forced them down.

Both of their eyes widen with shock and guilt.

"Look Lea it isn't what it seems-" Alec interrupted.

"Oh shut the fuck up Alec!" I saw Alec flinch. "How could you? Both of you."

I turned to face Alec, anger and hurt boiling inside me. "That's my best friend. Out of all the girls you chose my best friend. Were you trying to target me on purpose?"

"No Lea I swear. Let me explain-"

"No, no I don't wanna hear it," at this point the tears had started falling. "All those talk this morning about how you don't wanna fight and how you wanted to get along. That was all a lie."
