I jumped as the sound of the bell filled my head and everyone exited the classroom. Agitated, I stuffed all my belongings into my bag and walked out in a huff. Today, things were not going so well for me and on top of that, my period had started so cravings and hormones were really acting up. I couldn’t under how my day had started off so well and now I’m craving a chocolate bar and feeling like ripping someone’s hair out.

My talk with Jazz went really well and we had a nice little rant about Keira which made me burst out laughing. But as soon as that first bell went signalling class things went downhill. My science class was the only class where I had to be partnered up with Jadon and let me tell you things could not be more awkward. He kept trying to make small talk and to make matters worse he had to bring up the party which caused unpleasant memories creeping back into my head. Keira and her little minions thought it was funny to hide my clothes in the P.E office while I was having a shower from P.E. Not to mention our little encounter where she told me and I quote: “To back off from Alec. He’s mine and he’d never go for someone as lonely and pathetic as me.” And to top off this lovely day as I was eating my lunch I just happened to catch Alec and Keira making out at their lunch table, their tongues down each other’s throat which put me way off my appetite.

So overall this day has been just peachy (note my sarcasm). Jazz unfortunately wasn’t in any of my classes nor was she at lunch because she had a detention. Today had been pretty lonely which made me feel even more socially awkward. Thankfully school had finished and I could go home, creep into my bedroom with several chocolate bars and many Ryan Gosling films. That man just drove me wild. I opened the door to my house and stumbled inside. It was dark and quiet meaning mum was still at work. I switched on the lights and dumped my keys and bag onto the floor. I slipped on a pair of sweats and a baggy t-shirt, grabbed a tub of ice-cream and popcorn and put on a film. Ready for 2 hours of pure hotness.

I was half way through my second film when my phone buzzed. Sighing I got up and walked over to where my phone was lying. I had a text from my mum:

Hey Sweetheart,

I’m running a little bit late so I won’t be back until around 8:00-8:30pm. There’s some left over pizza from last night.

Love you- Mum xo

P.S Remember to take out the rubbish.

I quickly replied back, switched it off and carried on watching the rest of the film. It was only 5:55pm so I had plenty of time to heat up the pizza and take out the ‘trash’ as I call it. When the film had unfortunately finished I got up and dumped the rest of the popcorn in the bin and the finished ice-cream tub into recycling. Hey, green is healthy. The pizza from last night was leftover peperoni pizza topped with extra cheese; just looking at it made my stomach growl. I quickly shoved it into the microwave waited for it to heat up. Whilst waiting I picked up the trash and made my way outside to dump it in the bin. The air was cold and frosty which made me miss the warmth of my home. I dashed to the bin and dumped the contents in my hands into the bin, wrinkling my nose at the smell.

I was about to walk inside my house when I stopped in my tracks looking over to where Alec was living. I could see the front door open, pouring the light from inside over the front garden. I could hear shouting; it sounded like Alec and a girl. I ducked behind a bin and peered closer at the two. For some reason I wanted to eaves drop, something about this sparked my interest. From the distance I was from I could clearly hear and see what was going on. The girl seemed to be crying and screaming at Alec. The light from Alec’s house was able to give me a clear view of what she looked like.
