Today was the day that I'm seeing Calum, finally. I can't believe I actually get to see him after talking to him over the phone for two months.
I could hardly sleep last night because I was so excited. But somehow I wasn't even tired. I just simply cannot wait to see him.
"Are you ready girly?" Ivy said excited and held up her car keys.
"So ready." I said with an excited smile and grabbed my phone and my tickets.
"I can't wait to see Ashton." She said eagerly and headed downstairs.
"Trust me I know. You've been talking about it since I asked you to come." I chuckled and followed her out to her car.
"How could I not? I've loved him for years." She said and got behind the wheel and started driving.
"I just thinks it's amusing." I said and looked out the window.
"I can't believe you're finally seeing Calum. You better kiss him. You can't let this moment go to waste." She said firmly.
"We're just friends Ivy." I said sternly and gave her a look.
"I've read a few of your conversations. You are not just friends." She stated and gave me the same look back.
"Whatever." I said and crossed my arms over my chest and slouched back in my seat.
"Kiss him or I'll smash your heads together." She said.
"That's not going to do anything other than give us a concussion." I laughed and looked over at her.
"Well there's a 99% chance that your lips will touch in the process so I'll do it if I have to." She said seriously which made me laugh more.
On the way to the arena we sang all of their songs at the top of our lungs. Sounds Good Feels Good was our favorite album of theirs so far so it was unbelievable that we got to see them sing it live. I'll probably go into cardiac arrest, especially if Calum looks at me. Actually even if he doesn't I'll probably still die, but it's fine.
When we finally got there we went through security and all of that crap. Then we got to our seats that were in the front row, right in front of Calum. I can't believe he got us these seats. He knew exactly what he was doing when he put me right in front of him and I'm not sure I'm ready for this show.
I heard the tune of Outer Space/Carry On-aka my fav song ever-play just before the lights turned on. My eyes went so wide as me and Ivy looked at each other.
"I'm gonna fucking pass out." I said and put my hand on my chest. I saw Calum scan the crowd as he sang, and when he finally found me he smiled and kept his eyes glued to me. I really can't believe that this is happening right now. Calum was singing my favorite song and staring right at me. How am I not dead yet you might ask. Well I'm wondering the same thing.
Throughout the entire show I took videos and pictures of everyone, mostly Calum though. At one point Calum reached down and stuck his hand out towards me. The girls around me screamed, and nearly tried to tackle me to grab his hand. But luckily Ivy was acting like my body guard so I could hold his hand for a brief second.
I was practically starstruck the entire show. And the fact that I'd be seeing him afterwards was even crazier to me.
When the show was over two security guards came over to us and guided us towards backstage. I didn't expect an escort but I guess I'll take it. I could tell the girls we passed wanted to kill us, but I didn't care too much.
When I saw Calum standing there looking somewhat anxious I almost died. He was a little bit sweaty but I didn't care at all. I'll take a sweaty Calum over no Calum any day.
"Aurora." He said with his face lit up like a Christmas tree. I smiled widely and ran towards him and into his arms. I can't believe he was actually real.
"I can't believe you're really here." He said and hugged me so tight my bones could probably break but I didn't care.
"I can't believe you're really here." I said and reached up to pinch his cheeks like I had promised. He laughed in the most adorable way which made my heart melt into the biggest puddle possible.
"Guess what?" He asked with a smile.
"What?" I asked and pressed my lips together.
"We get to stay in New York for a couple days, and the tour ends in a month so I can come see you after." He said and poked my cheek with his finger.
"Really? Can we hang out while you're here?" I asked excitedly.
"Well duh. I'm not just gonna stay here for three days and not hang out with my favorite New Yorker." He said and held his arms loosely around my waist.
"I'm so excited. I need to show you all my favorite places while you're here." I said and jumped up a bit and watched him smile.
"I can't wait." He said and pecked my cheek before bringing me in for another tight hug. My cheek was burning read and I've had butterflies in my stomach from the moment I saw him. I can't believe this was really happening.
"It's nice to officially meet you sleeping beauty." Luke said in a posh accent and held his hand out for me to take. When I took it he brought it up to his lips which made me laugh like crazy.
"Hey watch it." Calum said sternly and gave him a hard look.
"Stop it." I said and gently slapped his arm.
"It's nice to meet you too Luke." I said and gave him a friendly hug.
"Did you enjoy the show? I don't think Calum has been that excited for a show in years." He said and brought me over to a couch where we could sit.
"I loved it, you guys are amazing." I said with the excitement of the show still in my veins.
"Thank you." He said with a happy smile.
"Is that sleeping beauty?" Ashton asked with a wide smile on his face.
"Is that Ash?" I asked and reciprocated the same smile.
"Give your husband a hug." He said and walked over towards the couch with his arms wide open. I laughed and stood up from the couch and hugged him tightly, he actually hugged me so tight that my feet were lifted off the ground.
"Your friend is seriously so hot." He whispered in my ear which made me laugh.
"She feels the same about you." I said as we pulled away.
"Hey Aurora." Michael said with a smile and pulled me in for a hug.
"Hey Mikey." I said with a smile.
"I appreciate you for keeping Calum on his phone all day, he gets really annoying sometimes." He said as the four of us walked back to the couch.
"I'm at your service whenever you need me." I said and sat down next to Calum and Ashton. Calum rested his arm on the couch behind me and smiled as I sat down. I felt butterflies in my stomach as he smiled at me, and I ended up smiling back because I just couldn't help it. He was even more perfect in person believe it or not.
"Take a selfie with me." Calum said as the others broke off into their own conversation.
"Okay." I said and moved closer to him as he pulled out his phone.
We ended up taking a lot more than just one selfie. He said he looked bad in every single one, but I had no doubt that that was just his excuse to take more because he looked amazing.
A few minutes later I felt my phone vibrate and saw that his post notification had gone off. He posted one of the silly pictures we took and captioned it 'saw bestie today:)' I immediately liked it and commented 'you did great bestie'
