kiwi: two weeks until i see you
kiwi: unless you don't want to see me anymore
kiwi: i guess i understand if you don't
kiwi: i just really hope you do

beaut: i wasn't ignoring you
beaut: and yes i still want to see you
kiwi: you do?"
beaut: ofc i do
beaut: i love you calum
kiwi: you do?
kiwi: really?
beaut: yes calum
I heard my phone ring a couple seconds after I saw that he had read it. His contact came up on my screen along with the contact picture I had assigned to him. I looked at the picture just for a few seconds and shook my head. I smiled as I brought the phone up to my ear and answered his call.
"What are you doing dork?" I asked with a laugh as I sat on a spare gurney that was in the hallway.
By now everyone at the hospital was used to me finding a random gurney or an empty on call room to talk to Calum. They'd see me on FaceTime with him during my breaks or just smiling or laughing at the conversations we had over text. My friends all teased me for it, but I didn't care too much.
"I need to hear you say it out loud." He said and I could tell he was smiling like a big idiot right now.
"I love you Calum." I said smoothly and kept myself from laughing so he could really take it in. There was silence on the other end for at least two or three minutes. Then I heard him let out a breath, and it almost sounded like he collapsed on a couch or something.
"I love you Aurora." He said and let out another breath. My cheeks turned bright red, and I couldn't help but smile as the words played over and over in my head. My heart sped up like crazy and the butterflies in my stomach came alive once again. He drove me crazy.
"What are you up to?" I asked and brought my cold hand up to my cheek in hopes of cooling it down.
"We're going on in like ten minutes so I'm just sitting on the couch backstage." He said.
"Say hi to the boys for me." I said.
"Guys Aurora says hi." He yelled. I heard the other three boys yell back at him.
"Shit I'm getting paged, I'll talk to you later okay?" I said and stood up from the gurney and checked my pager to see where I had to go.
"Alright I'll talk to you later baby." He said with his voice as smooth and silk.
"Text me after your show, bye babe." I said and hung up the phone as I quickly made my way through the halls.
