Wrong number oops :')

Jimmy Jr sat worryingly in his room staring down at his glowing phone screen.

Eyeing the number that lay staring back at him on the screen, mocking him as his anxiety went haywire. His throat felt painfully dry and he was surely trembling.

The boy had actually gotten the guts to walk up to a girl and ask her for her number, and she said yes no doubt. He had been hanging with two of his friends at the mall earlier that day, when he spotted a girl standing a little ways away from them. She was cute, like- amazingly cute in fact! The girl had dirty blonde hair that was lighter at the ends and wearing a dress covered in strawberries. Definitely a cutie.

His friends noticed he was staring at her and nudge him to actually go and talk to her, and he actually listen for once!

Jimmy had walked awkwardly over to the cutie, which was talking to her friends when he walked up, he stuttered out an introduction that the girl giggled at. He had nervously chuckled before asking her for her number, she passed him a note with a couple of numbers on it and gave him a warm smile. The boy walked back to his friends, having a goofy smile on his face as his cheeks was lightly flushed; his heart pounding in his chest from adrenaline. His two friends patted him on the back, happy for him for showing some confidence, then proceeded to continue from before hand.

Now Jimmy Jr sat, panicking over whether he should text her. Was it too soon he thought, fidgeting with the band bracelets around his wrist. He didn't want to come on too strong, but on the other hand he didn't want to seem too uninterested. He sighed, screw it! Now or never he thought as he began to type a response.

Me: hey! Its the dude from the mall, the one that asked for your number-
Sent. 8:09pm

Unknown number: Um.. I'm sorry but I believe you have the wrong number, I wasn't at any mall today and I surely didn't have a guy ask me for my number.
Sent. 8:12pm

Me: oh..
Sent. 8:13pm

I decided against posting when I had 10 chapters done, I mean I'm almost there but I'm impatient.

I started writing like four days ago and I already have six chapters done, can you tell I'm fixated lol
