Hearing the newly wed couple scream everyone reached their bedroom door and started knocking on it. Aari immediately opened the door as Meena asked "What happened? Why did you both scream?"
"Umm...he was..." She cleared her throat "It was a lizard. I screamed which made him tense and he yelled".
"Silly girl doing silly things get back to your works everyone" Sivanjani ordered making everyone leave to their respective tasks.
After that incident the couple didn't dare to look at each other and now everyone gathered in the living room because Swamiji came along with poojari garu to make the newly wed couple perform remaining rituals.
"Come forward the newly wed couple. You are the centre of the attraction" Swamiji said making Siva clench his jaw but stepped forward.
"Amma according to your family tradition the newly wed couple must go to ammavari temple in the forest and do pooja and must spend a night in the temple" Poojari garu said making Siva roll his eyes.
"I'm not going anywhere with her. And the thing happened yesterday which made us tie together in a relation is not a marriage but death in my view. So don't expect for us to be happy it's useless doing all these rituals even" Siva stated nonchalantly.
"Si.." Meena started but cut off by Swamiji "Oh! Don't worry there is time for death but not now until then you must spend your time together at least for your family to be safe" looking at Aari whose face is blank and cleared her throat.
"Or may be he's afraid to stay alone with me because he thinks he may fall in love with me" Aari teased folding her arms across her chest challenging him.
