FATE OR DESTINY

CHAPTER-62

Siva surfaced water holding Aari who is unconscious and swimed to the shore. He pressed her chest and breathed air into her mouth continuosly but there was no response from her. He held her up and rubbed her back and hit her cheeks calling her "Aarya...Aarya..wake up...Aarya...open your eyes...god damnit..Aari.." he finally shouted making  her open her eyes and gasp before spitting out the water. She gulped in the fresh air as much as possible still coughing.

"Who was he?" Siva asked and Aari shook her head "I.. I don't know who. But whoever he was, he's definitely determined to kill you and me" saying she stood up but winced as the blood flew out of her shoulder wound.

"You are hurt. Let's get out of here soon and treat your wound" Siva said and stood up and started walking as Aari followed him. It's sunset and they haven't found anything near to a village or a forest office. Aari sat down leaning onto the tree and held her wound as it started hurting badly sensing she isn't following he looked back and saw Aari almost unconcious.

"Aarya...Aarya.. look at me" Siva called but Aari couldn't see anything. He lifted her in bridal style and walked through the forest and slowly the wind picked it's pace and turned into a storm making it impossible for him to walk and then the thunder struck and started pouring. First it started light and then it has increased which made both of them shiver due to the cold and soon they found a small hut made out of mud which is old and one side of the wall collapsed into half and went inside.

Aari was shivering because of the cold and Siva found some dry wooden sticks inside the hut and gathered them, he used the old style stones rubbing and lit the wooden branches making the place visible and brought now unconscious Aarya near the fire leaning her back to his front rubbing his palms together and put them on her cheeks as the heat source.

He was about to remove her wet saree but stopped 'How can I do this to her? But if I don't she'll die of cold. It's okay it will save her' and took off her saree and his shirt spreading them on to the ground for drying and avoided seeing her torso and held her close to him and slowly fell asleep leaning on to the mud wall.

Time passed but it was still pouring heavily and the wheather is cold so cold. Aari opened her eyes still cold but feeling warmth and looked around then she tilted her head to the side and saw Siva who looked tired and sleeping. She palmed his cheek and wiped the ash on his cheek bone making him open his eyes and sat straight which made Aari fall into his lap completely.

He caught her waist before she could hit the hard ground and pulled her up which resulted her straddle him and  making her wince . He looked at her face morphed in pain took her saree edge and tore it into a small piece and started unzipping her blouse making her hold on his shoulder tight.

He pulled down the blouse a little on right shoulder and wiped the blood with his shirt before tieing the torn cloth around it tightly making her close her eyes and leaned into him in pain making his breath hitch. He was breathing heavily since her nose was in crook of his neck and pulled her close making her snuggle into him.

He laid back onto the ground and Aari looked upto his face which was tilted down and noticed he was looking at her and said "T..Thank you" which made him cover both of them with the dried saree completely from cold.

The next morning when Siva opened hir eyes it was sunny and still morning. He looked around and Ari wasn't there and he started searching for her shouting her name and saw her at the small flower plants and turned her around holding her hand and shouted "Are you out of your mind? What are you doing here?" holding her tight making her wince.

"I..I was getting us flowers so we could take them back for pooja" Aari said making him leave her hand.

He sighed and said "We'll start walking I hope we get out of here by evening" making Aari nod and follow him after she tied the flowers in the kongu mudi. After walking for miles it was almost evening but suddenly Siva stilled making Aari stop and listen the twig break and both of them got alert.

Siva turned and was about to hit with stick but stopped when the other person shouted "It's me.. It's me...Your majesty" making Aari and Siva sigh. It was one of the guards from the security team who was in search of Siva and Aari since Hari alerted. "We found the future king and queen I repeat we've found them" saying the guard motioned the couple to follow him.

Aari legs were already aching from the long walk but she didn't show it out and started following Siva who was following the guard towards the outskirts of the forest. After an hour walk three of them reached the cars waiting for them, seeing Aari  Hari immediately hugged her making her wince.

Siva came to her side and pulled her back from Hari saying "She's hurt bring the first aid box and drive us to hospital" he made Aari get into car and followed her.
