We found my mom and walked back to the hotel. There were some girls standing outside. The doors were locked, so we had to use our room key to open it. There was also a police officer. Meredith and I got super excited.

We changed into comfy clothes (Sweatpants for me, and a sweatshirt and leggings for Meredith).

My mom asked if we wanted to go down to the lobby. Of course Meredith and I said 'yes'.

Meredith and I shared a huge chair in the lobby. We saw a white van pull up.

My heart started pounding. Meredith started to jump. It was a good thing I was sitting on her legs, because she would've jumped up.

Cody stepped out of the van. Brad, Jeff, and this one other person Meredith didn't know came out also. Justin wasn't there.

Cody walked into the building. Jeff spotted us and, I don't know if he said something to Cody, but Cody looked over at us.

Cody looked really tired. He was dragging his feet.

Meredith and I got up from the chair. My mom got up, too.

"Could they get a picture with you?" My mom asked.

"Yeah, sure," Cody smiled and used his beautiful Australian accent.

Morgan and I walked over. Cody put his arms around us. I put my arm around him, too.

"Did you come to the concert," Cody asked.

"Yeah," Meredith and I both said.

"Did ya like it?" Cody asked.

"You're really good," I said.

Meredith nodded.

"Did you come?" Cody asked my mom.

"Yeah, I just have to say you are a really good performer. You're really talented," My mom responded.

Cody was all smiles. "Good, I'm glad."

Cody ran his fingers through his hair to fix it for the picture.

My mom took my phone to take the picture.

"Shannon, how come it's not working?" My mom asked me.

"I don't know," I shrugged.

"I'm sorry. I know you're really tired," My mom said. She walked the phone over to me.

I took it. Cody started to rub Meredith's back.

"Sorry, my mom's technologically challenged," I smiled. Yes, those were the words I went with.

"What?" Cody asked. "Oh, it's on video."

I stopped it.

"Here, let me just use my phone," My mom said.

We smiled again and my mom took the picture.

"Thank you!" All three of us said.

The policewoman walked over. "Photo for law enforcement?" I tried so hard not to laugh at that, because it was so unexpected.

"Sure," Cody said.

He walked back to the elevator. He turned around he stood there, just staring at Meredith and I, smiling.

Meredith and I started to quietly fangirl.

I waved 'bye' to him.

Meredith and I couldn't believe what had happened, and I still can't to this day.

Is this real life? That is the question I kept asking myself.
