It All Started With A Concert (A Cody Simpson Fanfic)

Chapter 24

We all slept in that morning.

"I wanna do something," Meredith finally said. "I'm going to get dressed and go over to Alli's room.

"Okay, I'll get up in a bit," I said. I took a shower, got dressed, and headed over to Cody's room. My mom also got dressed and hung out with Angie and Brad. I knocked on Cody's door.

He answered. "Hey, I was just coming over to see you." He hugged me. "Would you want to walk around Paris again today?"

"Of course," I smiled.

"Great," Cody said. "We have to take Jeff though."

I shrugged. "I figured we would."

Cody took my hand and we went to Jeff's room. We got into a car and walked around Paris. We saw a girl playing her guitar and singing on the street. Cody stopped. "You're really good," he told her when the song ended.

"Thank you," she smiled, but then her expression gradually turned into shock. "Wait, you're Cody Simpson. Oh my gosh. Thank you so much."

"You're welcome," Cody grinned.

"Here," she handed him her guitar. "Play."

"Oh," he looked at me.

I nodded at him, as to say it was okay.

"Okay, just one song," he agreed.

The girl shrieked with joy.

Cody started playing. I noticed it was one of his newer songs. He played 'Pretty Brown Eyes'. A crowd gradually formed as he played on.

Cody kept looking at me and the girl next to me started freaking out. "He keeps looking at you. He must like you!"

I smiled and breathed a laugh.

"Does Cody know you or something?" she asked.

"Something like that," I shrugged.

"Wait, you're American?" she questioned. "Are you who I think you are?"

"Who do you think I am?"

"Cody's girlfriend?"

I turned to walk away and flashed her a wink. I walked to Jeff and Cody came up to us after taking a few pictures with fans.

"Amazing as usual," I told him.

"Thank you," he grinned.

We stopped at a little coffee shop. I ordered some tea. Cody got a drink as well. We sat at a table in the far back. Jeff sat at his own table to give us some privacy. Cody and I just talked about random things. Then we went on some more tours and headed back to the hotel.

We headed to the venue for Cody's concert an hour after that. Alli, Meredith, Tom, Cody, and I all sat and ate Pizza that night before the concert. We played a few board games and just chilled out.

"Ready to do your last concert for this album tonight?" I asked Cody.

He nodded and smiled as he got his in-ears set up. He walked onto the stage and did sound check. We hung out some more before he went on stage. There were a lot of people there that night. I was surprised when he didn't bring a girl on stage for 'Not Just You'. Before his last song he said a 'thank you' to his fans. He walked off stage and took my hand. I gave him a quick kiss.

"Let's get in the car quickly," Jeff interupted. He ushered all of us out back toward the cars before the crowd of people.

Cody and I sat together in the car. He put his arm around me and gave me a hug. "Gross, you're all sweaty," I joked.

He laughed and kissed my cheek. "You're adorable."

I blushed. "Thank you, but you're even more adorable."

"Oh, shut up," Meredith complained from the far backseat.

"Aww, I think it's sweet," Alli said.

"It's annoying," Meredith laughed.

"Oh, please," I said to Meredith. "I'm sure you'd be the same way with Josh."

"Seriously, shut up," Meredith said trying to plug her ears with her hands.

I turned around, reached back, and grabbed onto her hands so she could hear me. "You're going to tell us about Josh soon, and I'm going to hold you to it."

"I second that." Alli raised her hand.

"I have no doubt that it's going well with you and Josh," Cody shrugged.

Meredith made a face and sighed.

We arrived at the hotel and snuck past the fans. We all went to pack up our clothes and go to sleep, because that morning we were going to be flying back to America.
