New Discoveries

Chapter 11

Niall's pov

"Where's my suitcase gone? I had it here just a minute ago. Where's my phone? Where's Toby?" Jess said rushing around looking for things.

"Babe. Calm down, you got everything ready 5 minutes ago. Your suitcase and Toby are by the front door and your phone is in you're hand" I said, holding her still and rubbing her arm.

"Where are the plane tickets and our passports?" She asked, still stressing.

"Here" I said holding them up. She let out a huff and pulled me in for a hug. "What would I do without you?" She said, resting her head in the crook of my neck. I held onto her tightly, kissing her forehead. "I don't know but, let's go, otherwise we are going to be late for our flight" I said, letting go. We walked to the front door and I picked up our suitcases. Jess picked up Toby's carrier and we left the hotel room.

We walked down to the back of the hotel and I piled all the suitcases into the back of the car. Jess gave me Toby's carrier and buckled him into the car. Jess and I also got into the car and we soon drove off to the airport. I watched the cars pass, outside the window.

"Niall. Niall, wake up!" My eyes shot open and Jess was sat next to me, with a smile plastered on her face. "Come on. We're at the airport" She said unbuckeling her seatbelt. I followed suit and unbuckled my seatbelt too. The driver got our suitcases out, while I got Toby out.

I put Toby's carrier onto his pushchair. Jess pushed Toby's buggy, while I pulled the suitcases. While walking into the airport, it was busy, but we managed to get around. We checked in and waited to board our plane. We sat down on some chair's while waiting.

I pulled out my phone, and typed in my password. I logged onto Instagram, took a quick picture of Toby, tagged Jess and posted it. Within seconds I had loads of likes and comments. I locked my phone and looked up, to see my bandmates sat around my girlfriend. I smiled at them.

"You alright mate?" Louis asked, placing his hand on my shoulder. I nodded.

I looked up at him and smiled. "I'm good thanks. How about you?" he nodded and picked up his bag.

"You coming on the plane or are ya just going to sit there?" he said. I looked around and noticed everyone stood up.

"Oh! Didn't realise we could go on yet" I said standing. I grabbed my bag and headed towards our gate. I saw Jess and ran up to her, taking the pushchair from her.

"Niall!" I heard someone shout. I stopped and turned around. I saw Harry run towards me. He stood before me with a toy in his hand. "I think you dropped something" he said, handing me the toy. It was a blue and white stripped monkey.

"Thanks man. He wouldn't sleep without him" I said taking the monkey from him. I placed it on the pushchair and walked onto the plane.

Once we were all settled in our seats, the plane took off. We made sure that Toby had his dummy in his mouth for when we took off.

2 hours into the flight we were all sat around a table playing cards. Every so often I would look at Jess and she would look like she was planning something.
It was silent, apart from the little snores coming from Toby, until Jess spoke up.
"I'm sorry I ruined this trip by going into labour" she said slumping in her chair. Everyone looked confused. Even I was confused.

"What are you talking about Jess? You didn't ruin it. You made it even better" Lou said, putting her arm around Jess.
"Yeah! You gave us this bundle of joy!" Louis spoke, coming out from the back of the plane, with Toby in his arms. I smiled as Jess's face lit up at the sight of our baby.

8 hours passed and we had landed safely back in the UK. We didn't have to get off the plane straight away so we just gathered our things.

We were just about to leave when Jess bursted out "Who am I going to live with!?" Josh and I looked at each other.

"Well who do you want to live with? Me or Niall?" Josh stated.
Jess looked at me, then at Josh, then back me again.
"Josh" Jess said looking at her brother. "I'm going to live with Niall if you don't mind" Josh nodded and picked up his and Holly's bags.

"I'll see you soon, yeah?" Josh said, hugging his sister. We all said our goodbyes and Josh and Holly left the plane.

"Do you guys want to come back to ours?" I asked. I got a reply of 'Yeahs' and 'sures'. I grabbed mine and Jess's bags while Jess put Toby in the pushchair. We all vacated the plane and were met by swarms of fans and paps.
