New Discoveries

Chapter 2

(A/n sorry I took so long to update. I had lots of school work and I like to write long ish chapters)

Josh came back in and told us that they needed to go and rehearse for the rest of the afternoon. I put my jumper on and picked up Lux. I followed the boys out to a line of black vans. The boys got in the first one and drove off leaving me, Josh, Lou and Lux to get in another van. Josh sat in the front, and me, Lux and Lou sat in the back.
The drive wasn't long but it felt like hours. We parked out the back of the arena. When we got out there were swarms of girls. I picked up Lux and we walked away from the girls because I could see that Lux getting a bit scared. The boys all talked to the girls while me, Lux and Lou stood by the door. We waited for about 5 minutes until the boys joined us and we were escorted to the dressing rooms. I met the 3 others who play instruments. John, Sandy and Dan. They were just as nice as everyone else I have met recently. I got put in a room with Lou and Lux while the boys went and rehearsed. 

We had been in this room for at least half an hour and I was starting to get fidgety. I need to get out of this room. "I'm just going to go for a walk. I can't seem to sit still" I say to Lou. "Me as well" Lux said grabbing my finger. I looked at Lou to make sure it was ok and she nodded. We walked out the room and down the hall to a vending machine. "Do you want anything to eat or drink?" I asked Lux. She looked in the machine and pointed up at a Cadburys chocolate bar. "Ok. Would you like a drink as well?" She nodded and pointed to a fruit shoot. I put the money in and got the food and drink out for her. I got my self a bottle of water and we carried on walking. "This way" Lux said pulling my arm in the direction of the music. "Ok. I'm coming. Just slow down a little bit" I said trying to keep up with her. We got behind the stage and I could see the boys on stage. "Look. Up there. Uncle Joshie" She said pointing to my brother on the stage behind the drums. "Oh yeah" I said looking at the boys on the stage. "Ok boys lets take a break" I heard someone shout from the stage. The boys looked at each other as they came off back stage. "Jess! What are you doing out here?" Josh asked concerned. "I was getting fidgety so I decided to come for a walk and Lux came and she brought me over here" I say while Lux hugged Harry. Josh nodded and took a sip from his water bottle just like the others did. "What have you got there?" Josh asked Lux. "Chocolate and juice" she said showing them to Josh. "Can I have some?" Niall asked. She looked at him, shook her head and hid behing my legs.

"Ok guys lets get back to rehearsing" the same guy from earlier shouted. The boys hugged Lux and Josh hugged me and they walked back on stage. "This way" Lux said pointing to some doors. I followed her through the doors and they led to the seats in the arena. It was very big. I must say. Lux dragged me to the front row and we sat and watched the boys rehearse. There were other girls who had got in early and were watching the boys rehearse as well. I turned around to look at the girls who were very far back and some of them gave me a dirty look. Me and Lux continued to watch boys until a girl came down the steps and tapped me on the shoulder. "Oh hello" I said turning around. She looked about 15 and had blonde hair just down to her shoulders and green eyes. She was wearing a tank top and skinny jeans. "Hi! I'm Ocean" she said holding out her hand. I took Lux's hand and shook Ocean's hand with my other. "Nice to meet you" I said letting go of Ocean's hand. "Can I ask you a question please?" she asked. I nodded, not really knowing where this was going. "Who are you?" i laughed a little and said "I'm Jess" she nodded and said "How come your with Lux?" she asked. "Well, I'm Josh the drummers sister" I whispered and pointed to my brother. "Really?" she asked and I nodded. "Well I've got to get back. So I guess I will see you at the concert tonight then?" I said. "Yes you will. And I promise I won't tell anyone about our encounter" she said and I laughed. She walked back up the steps and waved as I waved back. I picked up Lux and we walked back into the dressing room. 

I put Lux down on the floor and I sat down on the couch next to Lou. "Do you know where we are going next?" I asked Lou. "Uh I think Harry said we are going up to Manchester" she said thinking about it as I nodded. There was a knock at the door and I jumped up to open the door. It was the boys. "Harry!" Lux shouted and ran to him, as he held his arms open for her. She ran straight into his arms and he picked her up. They both hugged each other tightly. We all sat on the couch in silence with the tv in the background until Louis spoke. "So Josh. Have you found a girlfriend yet?" he asked causing Josh to smile and blush. "Yes" he whispered. "WHAT!" I shouted. How come he never told me. "Yes ok. I have been seeing this girl." he said blushing again. "Aww. Why didn't you tell me?" I said still in shock. "Because I thought you would be like this. All lovey dovey" he said making me laugh. "Well of course I would be like this. I'm your sister and you haven't had a girlfeiend in ages. Anyway. Tell me about her" I said getting a little over excited. "Well her name is Holly. She is 21. She has the most beautifullest light brown hair and amazing blue eyes" he said. Well. I've never heard him say that about a girl before. "Is she pregnant yet" Louis asked with a smile. "What! Of course not" he said blushing again. "Is she?" I asked being serious. He shook his head. "Oh well thats a shame because I really wanted a niece or nephew" I said actually feeling rather upset. "Well Im sure we can sort that out at a later date" Josh said smirking. We all laughed. "Oh speaking of babies. Josh I need to book a doctors appointment for my ultrasound" I said running my hand over my belly. "I'm sure I can sort that out" He said.
