CHAPTER FIFTEEN
The guilt of killing Clint Barton had only increased in the past three days Kida had refused to leave her bed. The guilt had started at her chest, ionising pressure directly into her heart, stabbing harshly at her arteries - the heat refused to rest, swimming around her body, sinking in her organs: squeezing and biting at its prey. There had been periods during the seventy-two hours where Kida felt the heat penetrate her mind, digging into her brain trying to pry its way in, in hopes of Kida submitting to the heat. During those three days Bucky was sat on the edge of his chair, watching the mortal fight off a inner entity - her ryes flashing, skin flushed and palpitating. She looked awful. Her cheeks had almost wholeheartedly sunken, her cheek bones viciously sticking out stabbing at the air around her.The guilt, it never stopped. It kept building and building - trying to fight at the heat which only fought back harder, more stronger. She was growing tired, the heat was tapping against her skull with upmost ferocity that she felt her head almost split open. There was also this low hiss, words rolling off the heat with deep authority but lack of a loud sound. It banged against her head wanting to be let in. There where moments during the night where she lay awake, the hear would be in her stomach: resting. It didn't bother her then, the heat, it would stay in her stomach at night and linger around her intestines, sometimes even licking the inside skin of her flesh - those moments made Kida want to claw at her skin, it was an uncomfortable feeling, feeling assaulted inside of her - where she couldn't run away from. She'd punch her abdomen, but the heat will only shift to her chest, or to her thighs: wrapping painfully around her in some form of punishment for being resistant.
She shifted in her bed, her body turned towards Bucky's portion. She shifted a little closer, using the pillow they used to create a barrier as a head rest. The masculine and clean scent of the demon flooded her nostrils, falling deeply into her lungs when she breathed deeply. The heat had moved up to her chest, nestling between her bones. The scent of demon faintly made the heat purr, a deep hum making her body flash hot, the scent made the hear crawl up to where her nose was buried into the pillow and rested. She whined, the overwhelming amount of heat in her nose annoying her.

The demon trio watched the mortal wither in her bed, patches of sweat omitting from her frame, as the vacant look on her face was buried in a pillow. Natasha had finally decided to come forward and confess what she had seen at the church: the gouge eyes of the priest burned into her memory. The redhead tugged at the two demons, bringing them out the bedroom and into the small parking lot outside the inn.
The parking lot was fairly large, with a few cars littered around the perimeter. Natasha urged them toward the boot of the old Buick, and lifted the trunk. Sprawled like a mummy, Clint Barton's body laid for the last three days, decaying away in the quaint car boot, his skin pale and shrivelled. His handsome features withered away into nothing.
"Dear Lucif-" the male demons whipped away from the body, the stench stale and old. Sam had wrapped his hand around his mouth and nose, the stench of the body causing tears to prick at his serpent eyes. Bucky did the same, his body faced away from the Buick. "What the fuck is that?!"
"That-" Natasha points. "-is Clint Barton."
Bucky turned back to face the redhead. They caught each others gaze, their eyes flashing at the information. "What?" His brows furrowed, his tone was in disbelief.
"After leaving you guys back at the café, I went back to the church to see what had her so shaken up-" She nods toward the body, grimacing as the corpses jaw had unhinged. "I went inside the church and found his body."
The males didn't know what to say, how to respond. There where thoughts running around their heads, a sort of disbelief blooming in their skull, wrapping around their brain and securing itself. "Wait, did you say you went into the church?" Sam questioned, his eyes quickly falling to her feet to check for any injures.
