Jamie turns back to you, his eyes catching the sun like warm stars.

"Yeah?"

"I have something to tell you."

"What is it?"

He starts walking back towards you, and you freeze up, regretting even stopping him.

Jamie gets so close you can smell him.

"Y/n?"

"I like-" you stop yourself.

"What?"

Just say it y/n, I like you I like you I like you.

"I like..." you repeat, keeping your eyes trained on his face.

Just say it!!!

"Your shoes."

He looks muddled for a second, then smiles the tiniest bit. "Thanks."

Jamie leaves.

"I like you." You mutter under your breath, watching him walking across the verdant green grass.

Dear me y/n, "your shoes?" Ridiculous.

It's time to head back to Rosewood, and although everyone else is sad to say goodbye...you can't wait to get out of Tokyo. It's added more horrifying events to your unforgettable list and there's still so much more going on.

WITHOUT you Lottie, Jamie, Ellie and Sayuri found a time capsule with supposedly Princess Liliana's hair and a beautiful sword with a blade that could cut through stone.

"Why did you go without me!?" You snap, facing Ellie and Lottie after hearing the news. You're outside the school, each with a suitcase in hand.

Elllie shrugs. "You've been pretty stressed out lately, and you need that Partizan training."

"Um Jamie was there! And are we not all 'stressed out'?"

"Good point."

Lottie shakes her head sorrowfully. "I'm sorry y/n, Jamie was worried about you and insisted we not tell you so you could rest. He has the sword at the moment."

"Speaking of which," Ellie begins, "where is he?"

"It's unlike him to not be in at least a metre radius of one of you two." You joke, scanning the group of friends.

As if on cue Jamie strides around the corner, a huge inevitably very heavy suitcase trapped under one arm.

"Speak of the devil." Ellie mutters.

Jamie stands next to you, glancing expectantly at the three of you.

"Vampy!" Lottie exclaims, you follow her line of vision to the biggest cat you've ever seen.

Its fur is so black even the sun doesn't lighten it, golden yellow eyes speculating everything in its way.

"You named this judgemental cat Vampy?"

She nods, reaching down to stroke his back. Vampy continues walking, rubbing into your legs before circling Jamie. He jumps onto his hind legs and claws at Jamie's clothes, mewing and begging to be picked up. Jamie stares in wonder at the fluffy cat, for once not knowing what to do.
