When arriving in Tokyo, the four of you stay close, disguising yourselves in sunglasses and hats. You and Jamie walk either side of Lottie and Ellie, you would've done it anyway, but knowing that the new reason is because you're a partizan in training fills you with pride.

You meet Anastacia, the twins and Saskia. Everyone's hugging and laughing but you stay to the side, not as close to them as Lottie and Ellie are.

"Stay close," Jamie appears next to you, "never let them out of your sight."

You nod, smiling softy at your friends.

Tokyo is gorgeous, but huge. There's something interesting and new everywhere you look, it's overwhelming and incredible.

Your eyes sparkle as you admire it in wonder, your group progressing to the school.

An elbow digs into your side and you jump away, your gaze whipping to the culprit.

Jamie points two fingers at his eyes, then at the group ahead.

You wave him off, stepping to the other side.

What a mood killer.

When reaching the school you are introduced to a short girl with gorgeous blue hair, another with silky black hair and a boy with round glasses and a welcoming smile.

"Welcome," The black haired girl says, "I am Sayuri."

"I'm Haru!" The boy with glasses exclaims, but blue hair scans you all with a judgemental glare, "That's Miko."

Miko nods, crossing her arms.

Haru's eyes stop at Jamie, and his smile intensifies, "nice to see a fellow partizan."

Saskia clears her throat, raising an eyebrow, "three fellow partizans."

"Ah yes, Saskia of course you too but...who is the third?"

You are stood behind the others but Jamie pulls you forward rather roughly, you shrug him off, maintaining a serious and marginally intimidating expression.

"I'm Y/n Kennedy, Jamie's partner."

Haru smirks, amused at your annoyance towards Jamie, "I've never heard of a partizan partner before, don't you need to get along to do that? You two don't seem like the best of friends."

Your annoyance deepens at his comment, "I'm training at the moment actually Haru and me and Jamie work really well together. He saved my life, was willing to literally die for me and helped me when I was freaking poisoned, of course we're friends, because Jamie's great! AND we get along perfectly fine thank you."

Everyone looks taken aback, but Haru smirks, impressed. You glance at Jamie, who's avoiding any eye contact. Is that a blush?

Surely not.

"You both saved us all." Lottie states, smiling discreetly. There's murmurs of agreement from your friends, with nods and supportive smiles.

You stand awkwardly, not knowing what to say, then step back next to Jamie silently.

"It's late, let's get you to your rooms."

Sayuri leads you into the school, which is even more stunning than what you imagined.

You are escorted to your rooms, but when you begin to enter behind everyone else someone grabs your wrist and yanks you to the side. The power of it makes you stumble, and you stop yourself from falling by gripping onto the person that yanked you. You react quickly, but when seeing the mysterious person smirk, stand up straight.
