"ugh cant believe i have to go to this dumbass summer camp. why cant i just enjoy my summer in peace with my friends?" mike thinks on the bus on his way to the very popular science camp, camp know where. the bus eventually came to a stop as mike sighed. he slowly stood up and walked off the bus in silence. he arrived at around 9:30 at night and was greeted by the head counselor tom. "welcomeeeee to camp know where! where we have arts, sports, and many activities! not to mention you'll make great friends!" Tom says jumping around. "The hell is wrong with this guy..." mike thinks. "well come on in and ill take you to your cabin!" tom says while wrapping his arm around mike and dragging him to his cabin. "here you are! cabin 13. make sure to greet your cabin mate, settle in, and rest up good, we have a big day ahead of us tomorrow!" tom says walking away and leaving mike alone in front of his cabin. he sighs and opens the door, revealing a small boy with fluffy brown hair in a cozy pink sweater. "why hello! you must be my cabin mate! its very nice to meet you! my names will, will byers." will says while sticking his hand out towards mike. "Im....mike?" mike says. will grabs mikes hand and shakes it. "nice to meet you mike! im sure will be great friends!" will says with a smile. "ok" mike says rolling his eyes and walking towards his assigned bed. wills smile faded as he walked behind mike. "uhh well theres alot of fun things here! like arts and sports- well sports arent that fun.....but theres art and-" "yeah i already know whats here". mike says cutting will off. "oh...ok. well i hope we can be friends!" will says forcing a smile and walking back to his bed. will opens his mouth to try and start a conversation with mike again but counselor tom walks in interrupting him. "lights out boys! big day tomorrowwww!" he says as he turns the lights off and leaves, closing the door behind him. will tucks himself into bed.."goodnight mike!" will says. "yeah you too..." mike was confused. hes never met someone so....nice? mike climbed into his bed staring at will as will began to close his eyes. "what a strange boy" mike thought.
