Shania POV

I squinted my eyes looking at the footage in front of me, honestly I wasn't even surprised they thought it was me. The footage was my cousin who was in Year 10 with medium length, coarse dark brown curly hair. Her face wasn't identifiable but I knew exactly it was her from her goofy stance. And even though I could tell the teachers that, I wasn't about to throw her under the bus, instead I was going to deal with her myself.

After a few seconds of watching the clip of this girl in the year below Mr Richards broke the silence by announcing my punishment. "You will be in isolation for the rest of the week." and before I could say something he continued and said "It would've been two days but since you lied to us it will be for the whole week."

It was a Monday.

A MONDAY.

I also was quite upset at the fact I didn't get suspended. Last time they did that a teacher caught me out and about shopping with my elder cousin and as you can tell that did not end well.

Mr Richards although a bit stupid did not lack common sense and wanted me to suffer, he knew exactly how to get under my skin and when himself and Ms Smith teamed up they made my life hell.

It was not long until I was escorted to a dull room which had grey walls with desks plotted together but separated with a barrier between them. The first and only person I saw was a petite brunette girl and her lavender scent filled the room. She turned around once she heard Ms Smith talking to me and I paid more attention to this girl, not the idiot woman. She smiled before turning back around continuing to what I assumed was doodling.

Once Ms Smith had ran through the details of what I needed to be doing and commenting on my skirt length which enlightened her flame even more, she left slamming the door which startled the girl.

I took a seat to the left desk but leaving a gap in case she was suspicious as to why I sat next to her. And honestly I wanted her to feel that way. I did things like this usually to study peoples reactions and somewhat act "cool". But I didn't even need to do any of this since people already thought of me as nonchalant and cool. I was quite popular in my year group and the school. I was infamous in the past for getting in trouble a lot, but since Year 11 I had calmed down and avoided trouble. I attended parties more but kept my title of "Ms. Popular".

After what was a minute of silence I broke it by staring up and looking at the girl starting a conversation. The typical "Why are you here line?" which was answered by her replying "Some stupid slag decided to snitch on me for something I didn't do." I chuckled slightly to myself before turning back to my work, she then asked the same question as I did and I explained to her quickly what had happened to which she said "Oh." she didn't laugh but had a face of sympathy for whatever reason and her blue eyes glared into mine, she didn't break the eye contact but it was myself who did.

I then rekindled it by turning my body to face her and took in her appearance. She had long light brunette hair with even lighter brown highlights and piercing blue eyes, her mascara was clumped but in my opinion I thought it looked cute on her. Her eyebrows were nicely groomed and she sported a light pink lip gloss and a nicely beat face. I could tell by the way she was sitting that she wasn't that tall and at an estimate she was 5'5. She tilted her head to the side before questioning me again. "Are you friends with Lacey?" it caught me by surprise by I answered hastily simply saying "Yes."

For whatever reason she seemed to be proud and she simply folded her arms and stated "She's my sister, I've seen you at my house before." to that response I attempted to act like I cared nodding before twisting myself back to my work. If it wasn't embarrassing enough I didn't even know this girls name.
