10 - French

Shania POV

I walked across the frozen field with the litter picker in my left hand and the bin bag in my right. I wanted to explain my conversation with Jayden to Lauren but I didn't want to out him in any way shape or form.

Before Lauren came with that twat Ryan, Jayden was explaining to me about all the closeted boys in our Year group and to be honest I wasn't surprised about most of them. It was also no surprise that someone as attractive as Jayden would be able to pull both genders effortlessly and he also seemed to enjoy that. But it was obvious he got bored of pussy and he wanted to stick mainly to dick.

It was amusing to me that people seemed to ship us both most of the time and we would play along with it, any risk of Jayden being outed could cause a lot of turmoil because ,I mean after all we do go to a close-minded catholic school and they aren't that accepting. It didn't seem to bother Jayden that he wasn't out and about of the closet but he used it to his advantage since he was a semi private person anyway. It also excited me every weekend when he would facetime me and tell me all about a new boy he met and all the stuff they got up to, it was probably the part of the week I looked forward too.

"So, what French work was it you needed help with?" I asked breaking the silence

"Uhh... I don't have it on me at the moment, I can print off practice sheets." 

"Alright that's calm, just to let you know my French is a bit rusty so don't blame me if I get any of the answers wrong"

She laughed awkwardly before opening her mouth to speak again.

"So are you and Jayden, like dating or something?"

"No, we are just friends. Are you jealous or something?" I asked teasingly, I stared at her waiting for a response and I guess her face features did since she went bright red.

"N-no, why would I be?" 

"So what about you and what's his face? Are you both dating?"

"No, we are just friends. Are you jealous or something?" She said mimicking me playfully.

I put my head down laughing to myself before walking ahead to reach the playground before her.

The bell was about to go so most of it had been deserted and teachers were shouting at students to start heading to their next lesson. I spotted Ms Smith flirting with Mr Richards who showed no interest at all to her and looked like he was looking for an excuse to leave. I turned around to see Lauren walking slowly and I gestured her to hurry up. She then caught up with me and we both walked up to the teachers.

"Ah, good. Surprised you both didn't decide to bunk off school." Ms Smith remarked

I shot her an evil glare before myself and Lauren handed the litter pickers and black bag to Mr Richards who nodded in approval, we made our way back to the room before she sat down.

I walked over to my stuff placing it to the table next to her. Sitting down twisting the chair to face her desk.

She looked at me surprised a bit before mouthing an "Ohh."

"So are you going to be at your sisters party? Or are you gonna go elsewhere."

"Well, I planned that we would stay at the party and I invited Precious over for a sleepover. But don't worry we both be getting in anyone's way."

I nodded slowly before asking again.

"You don't take French do you?"

She looked at me in disbelief before facing me to meet my brown eyes "No I don't, I was planning on telling you though"

To be honest I figured she didn't since Precious suspiciously asked me to help her, I mean I took the subject myself and I would've known if she did. I didn't say anything to her and I continued to do my work. 

The rest of the day seemed to go pretty quick and I didn't see Lauren at lunch for litter picking, but it didn't bother me since I spent the lunch gossiping with Jayden and some of his teammates.

To be honest I didn't see her for the rest of the week and I assumed her isolation was for two days only.
