Lauren POV

I was doodling a stickman burning to death when I heard what sounded like two people enter. It was then I heard Ms Smith the cunts voice that caught my attention and I briefly turned around to be met with a stare from Shania, I smiled at her before turning back around blushing slightly.

If it were anyone else who would've entered I would've turned back around normally without having rosy cheeks, Shania was someone I admired heavily. She was elegant and beautiful and a part of me thought she was slightly insecure because of the way she sometimes portrayed herself. She was 5'7 and had an upright posture with which showed confidence. She had long jet black curly hair which flowed down her back and halted just above her backside and was nicely defined and smelt like coconut. Don't ask me how I know that. Since it was December her Summer tan was no longer there and her once caramel skin was pale but still looked silky. Her eyes were a deep brown which surprisingly made my heart skip a beat and her face was bare with no makeup. Her skin was perfectly clear and glowed nicely and her eyebrows were groomed to perfection. Her black uniform was always neat apart from her skirt and tie always being short.

Just the thought of her appearance made me fall hard for her and it was even worse when she walked around the school with her group who took no notice to me, it wasn't because I lacked popularity it was because I didn't spark their interest. My older sister in the year above was in their group and it was the only reason why they didn't torment me. Not that they were bullies but some of them weren't the nicest people.

Luckily for me Shania would come to my house without the other members of the group whether it be getting ready for parties with my sister or just hanging out. It was then I would get a chance to see her outside of school in her comfortable state. I liked that side of her where she seem less at ease and comfortable in her own clothes. However she did not ever pay attention to me no matter how hard I tried. Luckily it was like the universe put us together and we were going to be spending isolation together.

I knew that I would have to seize this perfect opportunity and make myself look more approachable, so I quickly undone my top button and tugged my tie gently down, I took my blazer off and luckily my shirt was see through enough for my black lace bra to be seen. I mean, there wasn't anything else I could do but that was the best.

It was when I heard the door slam I jumped in my seat, startled a bit. And I knew the time had come, I observed from the corner of my eye hoping she would sit next to me. But she didn't. And I felt my heart shatter a bit. She instead left a gap and sat down without batting an eye at me.

After a minute of pure painful silence she finally spoke staring at me. "Why are you here?" She asked me and I got a flashback of the Friday where I was smoking behind the school with my friend Precious, I hadn't been seen on CCTV but a Year 7 wandering by decided it would be a good idea to snitch on me. I eagerly replied to her "Some stupid slag decided to snitch on me for something I didn't do." I felt kind of bad for calling a child a slag but it was not needed to be snitching on me, I heard her chuckle about what I said and I sighed silently when she turned back to her work. I tapped my finger nails gently against the wooden table before I spoke up and asked her why she was here.

She explained the smoking situation and I felt a lump form in my throat, out of nervousness and fear of her finding out I was involved in anyway shape or form. I uttered an "Oh" and showed a sympathetic face. Genuine sympathy. I glared at her making eye contact, whilst I counted the specks of freckles on her face. She then broke the eye contact twisting back to her work. I then noticed a few seconds later from the corner of my eye her body was facing mine, I also noticed my heartbeat speed up quicker and quicker.

I turned my head to face her and asked her quickly "Are you friends with Lacey?" it was normally a question I asked people so they could know we were related. Myself and Lacey didn't look alike since we shared different dads. We did have some similarities but you would have to look more carefully. She quickly replied "Yes" and I smiled at approval and folded my arms to simply state "She is my sister, I've seen you at my house before." I guess I thought she would've replied and instead she nodded and turned back to do her work without uttering a word.

I went pale with disbelief and continued doing my work. But it was not long after a bell signalled for the end of the school day, normally when you're in isolation you can't just get up and leave. You have to stay behind for an extra hour whilst everybody gets to go home and enjoy sweet freedom. And it's even worse during the school day when you have to be escorted like a convict during break and lunch just to get food. But Shania on the other hand, did not get the memo and grabbed her stuff leaving abruptly. I was curious to as she where she was going and not to sound like a stalker or anything I wanted to know. So once she had left I quickly grabbed my things too trailing slowly behind the curly headed girl.
