Narrator POV
Once Ryan had dragged Lauren across the field he wasn't aware there would be two figures talking to each other. Shania and another boy in Year 11 called Jayden, his infamous glare was enough to make someone piss their pants and fall in love at the same time.
They were talking whilst Jayden had an unlit cigarette in his right hand.
Once Ryan had arrived at the tree he let go of her, directing ahead of him so she would walk there.
"So are you going talk to me now?" He asked her.
But she didn't reply and once he arrived next to her he could see why, Shania was with Jayden conversing and once they had heard the younger boy talk and the girl arrive they stared at them in silence.
Jayden was definitely no stranger to the catholic school, everybody knew his name and he would catch smiles and flirtatious stares everywhere he went. It was no surprise everybody loved him he was 6'3 with a big muscular build, his skin was a warm brown with a golden undertone. And his tormenting hazel eyes were paired with dark genetic eye bags. He had ginger waves which were faded neatly and every visible part of his body was covered in brown freckles. His face was cleanly shaven and there were no signs of wrinkles or acne on his beautiful visage.
"Ryan, are you attending practice today?" His deep voice asked
"Y-yeah, I'll be there" Ryan stuttered
"Alright, cool." Jayden replied before turning his focus back to Shania staring down on her face and talking.
Ryan took the chance of Jaydens distraction to grab Laurens hand, and she took the chance to not comply escaping her hand from his grip.
"Come on, lets go."
She shook her head refusing to move and before he could do anything else Shania jumped to the rescue.
"Hey, Reynold, I don't think she wants to go with you. Plus she has somewhere else to be."
"It's actually Ryan and-" Ryan spluttered out before being interrupted
"Ryan, I think you should just go, I'll see you at training mate" Jayden insisted and from the tone of his voice it obviously wasn't a choice.
Ryan took a quick glance at Lauren before shoving his hands back into his pockets and walking away.
Lauren too was about to walk away before a gentle voice halted her in her tracks
"Hold on, I'll head back with you just give me a second."
Lauren did exactly what she was told and waited whilst she watched the conversation between Jayden and Shania come to an end. They seemed to be pretty close to each other and whatever they were talking about seemed to be interesting for the both of them. After a minute Shania leaned up to him gently placing a kiss on his cheek before walking to Lauren who was green with envy.
"Let's go."
And just like that Lauren was walking with Shania back to the room.
