The week passed and I had spoken to Luke a handful of times, I wanted to talk to him more but we was set the task of writing an essay all about what love meant to us, and it was honestly taking up all of my time. Before I knew it, it was Friday. I sat at my desk on my laptop thinking real hard on what love actually meant to me, the first thought that came to mind, was Luke. I was stuck in my own mind on a Friday night, in my dorm room all alone, that was until Kath came barging in the room with Kaitlin.
"Oh, hey Rose. Party tonight at the frat house, you coming?" Kath asked.
"I don't think so, I have this essay to write for class," I replied not taking my eyes of off my laptop screen.
"It's Friday, you have all weekend. Everyone wants to see you again," Kath pleaded.
"Yeah, it'll be fun," Kaitlin added.
I sighed closing my laptop screen, I know it wasn't great last time I attended the party, but I suppose a second chance would be in order. After all I do want to make friends, and I won't be able to do that whilst stuck in my dorm room. So I agreed to attend, but on one condition. As soon as anyone laughed, or made a remark that made me feel uncomfortable, I would leave. To which Kath agreed.

Kath, Kaitlin and I arrived at the frat house to see that there was drunken bodies swaying all over the place. I took in a deep breath and followed Kath into the frat house, instantly regretting my decision. But I also thought that this is what University was all about, bad decisions.
As I walked into the house I accidentally bumped into a very masculine body. I instantly apologised repeatedly, until I realised who it was. Hero. He looked down at me, into my eyes and we held our gaze there for a couple of seconds before I managed to pull it away and strut of in the opposite direction leaving him standing alone.
I soon caught up with Kath and Kaitlin again, but I found them having a make out session in the middle of the kitchen, groping and grinding on each other. I awkwardly walked away and decided to grab a glass of water, as I stood by the sink, Jason and Bradley walked up to me.
"Didn't think we would see you again at one of these parties," Bradley stated.
"Why's that?" I asked taking a sip from the glass.
"Do you want an actual drink?" Jason asked raising his eyebrow questioningly.
"No, thank you. That was a one of," I replied.
"You'll have way more fun," Jason smirked.
I thought for a couple of seconds, what is there to loose? Everyone else is drinking, and I didn't have to drink to the point I fumbled around. So I agreed, another decision I thought I would soon come to regret. Jason poured me a drink, I'm not quiet sure what, but he said it will taste amazing as it came for him. I laughed at his confidence as I took a swig and let the fruity, sour liquid burn down my throat. To my surprise, it tasted extremely good. Not like the vodka shots I was taken the week before.
The night passed in a bit of a blur and before I knew it I was swaying all over the place, not really knowing my surroundings. I had lost track of the time completely, and it was two in the morning when I decided to look at my phone, also noticing I had five messages from Luke, saying how proud he is of me, and how much he loves me. He stated in one of his messages that he will call me tomorrow at some point so we can have a proper catch up. I decided I wasn't in the right state to message him now, so I'd wait till morning.
The party was still going strong as the night went on, but I started to feel dizzy and faint, I thought it would be best to go lie down for a little while. I made my way up the stairs stumbling slightly, hoping no one would mind if I take a lie down in a bed somewhere. I tried several doors but they appeared locked. I reached the end of the corridor and turned the handle, the door popped open, no one inside. I made my way towards the bed and just flopped on the mattress. The room continued to spin as I stared at the ceiling. I heard footsteps coming towards the room I had settled in, but my legs felt like led and I no longer had the energy to move. I had left the door open and in came an unknown man. I hadn't seen him before but he laid right down beside me. I wanted to move, except my feet just wouldn't. The man laying beside me placed his hand on my thigh and started rubbing up my leg. I went to sit up, trying to ignore the sick feeling consuming me, but the man was quicker, he pushed me back down and climbed on top of me. I tried to shout and scream but he stifled my cries with his hand. I wriggled and thrashed about trying to push the guy of off me, but it was no use. I was stuck, no way of getting out.
Before I knew it, the guy had been flung across the room. I could feel the tears escaping from my eyes as I got picked up cradle styled and carried out of the room. I hadn't seen who had saved me as I kept my eyes shut to stop the tears from blurring my vision. I was placed onto another bed in a different room, my eyes still tightly shut. I heard the door close and I was scared to open my eyes, I felt weak, sick, and violated. I just wanted to leave, to go back to the comfort of my own room.
"Rose?" I heard a British accent say. I felt the bed dip as another body sat beside my limp body laying on the bed. "Rose, no one can get you in here. I have locked the door, try and sleep it off. I'll take you home in the morning." I couldn't believe what I was hearing, if I was right and this was really Hero, he was for once being considerate. Maybe he felt sorry for me. Or maybe he was just pretending so he could take advantage. But just like that my mind went blank, I had reached my alcohol limit, I blacked out. No longer able to hear or move.
