The next morning I woke, I opened my eyes slowly, my head started to pound and I shut them instantly. I heard footsteps entre the room and thought it would be best to pretend to be asleep. But of course, that wasn't an option for me, I felt a hand touch my shoulder and start to nudge me awake.
"Rose, come on. I haven't got all day," The British accent stated with annoyance dripping from his voice. I opened my head once more, and laid there as the room span around me. I slowly sat up and saw Hero sitting on the end of what must of been his bed, I looked down and realised I was no longer wearing the clothes from yesterday, instead I had a plain black t-shirt on. Hero must of seen the confusion etched on my face as he stated: "You kind of threw up on your dress, so as you were passed out and not able to do it yourself."
"You undressed me?" I asked shocked. Wondering if he did anything else.
"Not exactly, I got Kath to do it before she left with Kaitlin," Hero answered. "Like I said a minute a go, I haven't got all day." If it was so much trouble, why didn't he just arrange for me to go home last night? Instead of have me sleep in his bed, if I'm that much of an inconvenience.
I rolled my eyes and threw the cover of off me, realising I had no pants on. I quickly replace the cover back over me and looked straight at Hero saying: "Do you mind leaving?"
"It's my room," Was his response.
"Yeah, but I need privacy."
"Not like I wanted to look at you anyway," He scoffed as he stormed of out of the room slamming the door behind him. His attitude is the worst. One minute he is nice and saving me, the next he acts like I am too much trouble and just want me gone. He glares at me, scoffs all the time. I just want to get out of here.
I quickly scrabbled around the room, realising that I had nothing to put on. I rummaged through Hero's draws trying to find just something to put on over my legs so I was a bit more decent. I managed to find a pair of joggers. I slipped them on, and they were massive, too long and too big around the waist. I tied the draw string as tight as I could just so though would stay up and not fall down when I walked. I made my way out of Hero's room and walked around until I found Hero chatting in the kitchen with Harriett. They both instantly stopped talking as I walked in.
"You are wearing my clothes?" Hero asked raising his eyebrow.
"I had nothing else to put on," I replied sheepish.
"Just make sure you wash them and give them straight back," Hero retorted storming out of the kitchen.
"Ignore him," Harriett said as she placed her mug back down on the kitchen side.
"Is he always like this?" I ask.
"Not always, he isn't a bad guy really. Just hot headed, and has a bit of an attitude problem," Harriett chuckled.
"Are you ready or what?" Hero shouted from the next room. I looked over at Harriett and she gave me a small smile. I said my goodbyes and left for the front door and found Hero already sitting in his car waiting drumming his fingers on the steering wheel impatiently.
"Finally. Next time you come to a party. I advice don't drink," Hero said as I got into the passenger side of his car and he drove of.
"Are you always like this?" I ask.
"Like what?"
"A jerk, moody?" I ask before I can even stop myself.
He just scoffs and carry's on driving. "There you go again," I state.
"Here we are," Hero says as he pulls up in the parking lot. I open the door of the car and as I get out, slam it behind me without uttering another word to Hero. Without even a pass or a chance for me to get on the sidewalk, Hero drives of.
