It's 6 AM and I've been laying in bed for 7 hours. I know I'm not going to be getting any sleep and decide to finally get up and do something productive with my time. I have all day to get ready for school. School supplies and new clothes are the first thing on my list.
I slowly get up and put on the first thing I see. Grey skinny jeans and a black top that has a picture of the Eiffel Tower on it. I decide to wear my black converse. I look in the mirror and decide to keep my hair the way it is. Slightly messy yet still nice. It's a nice light blonde that stops right at my shoulder in nice waves. I turn on the tap and wash my face before I apply light make up. I'm satisfied by my appearance and smile to myself as I close the bathroom door.
I grab my black bag and make my way down to the stairs and to the kitchen. I grab a sandwich from the fridge, probably my dad's lunch but I don't care. I turn around and realize that more then half my day's plans have been ruined.
On the counter are a pile of school supples. A laptop, new headphones, binders, notebooks, 2 sets of pens and box of pencils. Everything I was going to get. There's a note that has my name on it and curiosity takes over. I grab the note , open it and read the short message.
"I hope this is all you need for tomorrow. There's cash on the dining table, go buy yourself some clothes. Enjoy your day, baby girl.
-Mom and Dad"
Mom and Dad? They never use those terms. I shake it off and walk over to the dining table. Just like the note says there's a pile of money. It's at least $700. I smile for what feels like the 50th time today because I can use some of this money to buy some things for Milo. I stuff the money into my bag and make my way out the door.
I find my bike leaning on a pile of boxes. I slowly climb on and hold it place as I grab my phone and figure out where the closest mall is. I get directions and start the route, 6 km away. That's not too bad. I place the phone in my bag and quickly put in my headphones so I can hear the GPS lady give me the directions.
As I start to make my way towards the mall and admire my surroundings. It's so calm and so quite. I actually kind of like it.
The bike to the mall doesn't take as long as I thought it would. I quickly lock my bike up and walk into the mall. I have mentally made myself a list of stores to visit. First on the list, American Eagle.
****************
After about 4 hours of shopping, I have bought myself 5 pairs of jeans, 11 tops, 3 sweaters, black hair dye and a decent amount of of bras.
When I walk out of the mall it is almost dark out. I quickly walk over to my my bike, place my shopping bags in my basket and quickly start the directions to get back home. It starts to drizzle when I'm about half way home and I'm horrified that it will get heavier and everything I bought will be ruined.
It takes me a good 25 minutes to get home and the moment I step inside, the light spitting becomes a heavy storm. Thunder can be heard and only when the lightning flashes, I quickly back away from the window and head to the kitchen. My parents aren't home yet and I'm slightly scared to be home alone right now.
I grab my supplies and stuff whatever I can into some of my shopping bags. I make my way to my room and throw everything on my bed as I quickly turn on my lights. I start to take off my lightly wet clothing and decide a tank top and some shorts will be good enough for tonight.
I grab my school bag and stuff in the binders and note books. I open up my new laptop, a MacBook, of course, and set it up. Once I'm finished I quickly grab my old laptop case and place it in. Once I'm sure all my supplies are good for tomorrow I take off my tank top, grab the black hair dye I bought earlier and head to my bathroom.
