Confession Session

It's been 2 hours since I found out who my new room mate is, and Yasmine is sitting on the couch listening to me rant.

"Yasmine! You can't make me!"

"April please? There's nothing I can do, there are no other rooms. You can sleep in Laura and Brad's tonight since they won't be here until tomorrow.

"You don't understand Yasmine!"

"What don't I understand? You aren't telling me anything!"

I take in a deep breath. She's right, I shouldn't be mad at her. She doesn't know what the asshole did.

"Im sorry... It's just..."

"Just what April? What did he do that's so bad, you can't share a room with him?"

"He had sex with me when I was drunk." I mutter quietly.

"What?"

"He had sex with me when I was drunk, Yasmine! He slept with me when I was fucking drunk!"

Her eyes go wide. She opens and closes her mouth a couple of times before words make it out of her mouth.

"Xander? Our friend Xander?" I nod

" I don't even know what to say, I didn't think he would ever do something like that."

"Yeah well he did."

"Is that why you won't admit you like him? ?"

I look and her and I let out a sigh before I sit beside her on the couch. She's right and she knows it. She gives me a hug and we sit there in silence for a couple of minutes before something starts to vibrate.

"Asher's calling, 1 sec "

She gets up and walks away as she answers. I sit there wondering why I don't hate him enough. My thoughts are interrupted by Yasmine throwing herself beside me on the couch.

"So, the boys are down by the docks and Asher is calling us down. He says the water is open and it's surpringly warm so we can't miss the oppurtunity"

She gets up and starts to walk up the stairs before she stops and raises her eyebrows at me. I look at her and I start to feel uncomfortable. I can't tell her no, so I get up and run after her.

I go through my bag trying to find the red bikini Yasmine packed for me. I don't plan on getting in the water but I see no problem in wearing it. It's hot out and I can't handle heat.

I quickly change and wear shorts over my bathing suit. I put on my flipflops and decide to keep my hair down as I put on a pair of sunglasses.

I make my way down the stairs to find Yasmine ready on the couch. She has on a royal blue bikini that suits her slim body and brings out her dark hair.

We start walking to the lake that we can see from the top of the hill. The scenery is breathtaking, the evergreen trees fill the forests and I can smell the pine. The skies are clear and the sun is shining which is rare. It is truely a perfect day, and I am glad I didn't stay inside and mope around.

Once we get down Yasmine runs down the pier and attacks Asher. They both fall into the water with a large splash, I can hear their laughter from the shore. I decide to sit by a tree trunk, as far away as the lake as possible.

I don't know how long I was sitting there but when I look up, Yasmine and Asher no where are in sight. I don't think much of it as I look back down and start playing with the grass. It's only when I'm picked up in a pair of strong wet arms, do I realize what's going on. We are getting closer the water and I am getting more terrified by the milli second.
