Chases POV:
Wow.
My girlfriends the coolest.
Chase: "you okay?"
Charli: "why wouldn't I be"
Chase: "I don't know, you just get objectified a lot. Doesn't that ever bother you"
Charli: "the story of my life chase. The story of my life"
I laughed.
Charli: "I like to think of it as a good thing. I know who I should trust and I know who I should stay a way from."
I nodded
Charli: "I liked you because you were a challenge. You didn't just see me for a hot girl. You actually got mad at me when we first met and you didn't try and ask for my number or anything. Yeah you were an asshole but at least you had some respect for women."
Chase: "me?? Asshole?? You crashed into my car!"
Charli: "I swear to god- you were in the way?!"
Chase: "I was parked!"
Charli: "remember it how you want"
I rolled my eyes
Charli: "let's go in the water"
Chase: "Mk"
I picked her up and brought her to the water.
Charli: "you really wanna play this way?"
Chase: "yup."
Charli: "Mk. you do you"
I held her in in my arms and as I was about to throw her she kissed me.
I got a little distracted and kissed her back.
She jumped out of my arms and shoved Causing me to trip over her leg and fall face first into the water-
Chase: "charli!"
Charli: "you wanted to play?"
Chase: "I never said I wanted you to shove me face first into the water!"
Charli: "you should have specified that before we started."
She ran towards me and put her hand out for me grab.
Charli: "get up. Stop being a baby"
Chase: "i got half the beach in my mouth thanks to you. Give me a second"
Charli: "you're finnnnnneee"
She grabbed my arm and pulled me deeper into the water.
We started swimming deeper in.
We got to a point where none of us could stand.
We both treaded.
She put her arms around my neck and her legs around my waist.
Chase: "looks like Il be treading for the both of us then."
She laughed
Charli: "yup"
She looked at me in the eyes
Chase: "I love you"
She kissed me and pulled away
Janet: "I love you"
The fuck- what the hell??!
And where did charli go??
Chase: "I said get the fuck away from me?!??"
I grabbed her head and pushed it under the water.
Why does she have to come now??
When I'm trying to enjoy time with charli?

Charli.

Charli?!
I shook my head and blinked really hard.
I was still drowning jan-
Janet: "having fun drowning your girlfriend?"
Oh my god- I'm not drowning Janet- I'm drowning Charli???
I quickly took my hand off her head and stopped myself from drowning her.
She came to the surface and she caught her breath.
What is she gonna say??
I almost drowned her?!
Charli: "good one. I really thought you were about to kill me"
She laughed-
Uh- okay- well I'm glad she thought it was a joke..?
I can't believe I just did that.
What if I did end up Drowning her??
She jumped on me and rapped her arms and legs around me drowning me.
We both went under the water and I opened my eyes.
It was blurry but I could tell she was laughing from the bubbles coming out of her mouth and nose.
She kissed me.
I ran out of breathe and swam to the surface.
We both caught our breaths and swam back to the shore
I took a towel and rapped it around the both of us.
We laid down and looked at the sky

We got to enjoy these moments while they last because I have a feeling it won't be long.
It's not like I don't see a future with her or I don't have hope in us. But you got to be prepared for the obvious.
I just have to accept that we might break up. Sooner or later.

Charlis POV:
What am I gonna do??
I had a feeling this might me happening.
He's seeing her ghost again.
It's obvious.
From the talking to "bugs"
To the almost drowning me and telling me to get the fuck away from him.
Maybe he never stopped seeing her.
I need a way to get her out of his head.
Il figure something out eventually...
I just wish he would have told me.
I thought we got to the point where we told each other stuff.

I laid down for a bit in the sun and chase was sitting next to me tracing his finger around my stomach
He looked bored
He moved and he sat behind me.
I felt his hands in my hair.
Charli: "what are you doing?"
Chase: "I'm braiding your hair"
Charli: "you know how to do that?
Chase: "I have sisters Charli. Of course I know how"
Charli: "Mk."
I closed my eyes and accidentally fell asleep.

I woke up and chase was shaking me.
It was dark out-
How long have I been sleeping
Chase: "the beach is closing soon, we probably should get going?"
Charli: "closing?? It's a beach??"
Chase: "yeah but they don't want people sneaking around at night, it's a private beach"
Charli: "if it's private then how are we here?"
Chase: "i don't know. We sorta just came in"
Charli: "oh. Okay."
I got up and I had a small braid in my hair. It was just one strand.
Charli: "looks nice"
Chase: "thanks"
I stood up and grabbed all my things.
Security: "everyone the beach is closing! Please leave!"
Chase: "let's go"
I nodded and he took my hand.
We walked out of the beach.
I then had an idea.
Charli: "this isn't any fun. Let's go back. Let's go night swimming"
Chase: "charli it's closed"
Charli: "and?"
Chase: "and we will get caught"
Charli: "we won't get caught. Let's just go"
I took his arm and pulled him back to the beach.
Charli: "c'mon. It's gonna be fun."
