Love Letters on Bathroom Walls

It was 8 in the morning and I had no business thinking about the mysterious girl so early. But all I did was think about her, if we're in the same home room or how many classes she is away from me. "Haid" I heard my ex girlfriend mumble to me form beside me making me tense up. "Are we still going to home coming together?" She mumbled awkwardly. "I promised you didn't I" I answered avoiding eye contact. "Yes I just didn't know since we agreed before I did what I did" she whispered. "Yes Mads we are, I'll wear black like we agreed" I mumbled and she smiled.
"So you're going to prom with your ex girlfriend, isn't that a little weird ?" Ocean said to me over the phone while I got dressed. "Yes but I promised, sounds to me like someone's a little jealous" I said with a smirk. "Oh shut up I am not" she said and I laughed. "Are you going?" I asked hoping she said yes. "I'll certainly be there" she said and I smiled. "Maybe we can hang out?" I asked hoping for a yes but deep down knowing the answer because even if this girl and I have talked for a couple of weeks now she did everything to hide her identity. "I'm sorry I have to go" she mumbled and the smile faded from my face. I tried texting her a million times hoping she'd answer me but she just read the texts so I decided to stop texting her when we reached the school gym and Maddie wanted to dance.
"Hey mads I'm going to the restroom" I said and she nodded before I headed into the empty bathroom I met ocean in. When I went in there a very pretty girl was fixing her dress, "you look pretty" I said and the girl only smiled and left the bathroom. I went into the stall and noticed new ink in the familiar hand writing from a couple weeks ago on the bathroom stall. "Class 207, 8pm if you see this?" I read and checked the time. And noticed I had 5 minutes to sprint there. When I reached the classroom it was empty but I tensed up when I heard the familiar voice. "If we're going to talk you need to put on the blindfold" she said, "come on ocean I won't tell anyone" I said. "Please" she said and I sighed and picked up the blindfold and put it on. I felt and heard her get closer to me and I felt her cold hands suddenly hold mine sending chills down my spine. "You're so pretty" she mumbled and I smiled, "I wish I could say the same" I said jokingly and she laughed and shoved me a bit. "Why can't I see you?" I asked, "i just want my regular life to stay regular for a little longer please" she said and I nodded. I felt her take my face into her hands and I carefully placed my hands on her face and pulled her in for a kiss. After a while we pulled away breathless and she pecked my lips. "I have to say goodbye" she mumbled, "why" I asked reaching for my blindfold and she begged me to keep it on. "Is this too real for you?" I asked her and I only heard her walk away. "I have never felt for anyone the way I feel for you, please don't go" I said. "I'm sorry" she said before closing the door and I stood there for a minute before taking off the blindfold and sighing.
