"Why won't you talk to her, she's been out there all day" Bailey said as I went into the kitchen. "Because she'll soften me and I'm doing what's best for her and her career" I said, "I don't think that's your decision to make" Bailey said walking up the stairs. I sighed and took a blanket from the sofa before going out to the porch where the girl was sitting playing her guitar. I put the blanket on her and sat next to her, "and I'm sitting here with cold chocolate chip pancakes asking you to hear me out" she sang softly, "my stubborn beautiful love love love" she sang before looking at me. "Finally" she said, "Bil you have to do what they say before you lose your career, don't lose the dream chasing the girl" I said. "I can chase the dream and the dream girl" she said making me smile. "You have to stop running from me and our feelings" she said and I sighed and pecked her lips. "What happens now?" I asked her, "we spend all the time together and in exchange you help me write music" she said and I nodded and agreed. "Here let me play this thing" I said taking her guitar and playing it horribly. "And then you say I want you for worse and for better" I sang the familiar Taylor Swift song loudly. She laughed and sang along with me, after we dialed down she asked the question I could tell was eating her alive. "If you do die, how long do you have left?" She asked me. "Uh February if I'm lucky March" I said and she nodded. "I guess we have a lifetime of memories to fill during that time" she said before taking my hand and dragging me inside.
"Billie I don't know how this correlates as a lifetime memory" I asked as we stood there looking at my parents who were equally as confused. "Hi I'm Billie and I would like your permission to ask her to be my girlfriend" she said and my dad scanned her with his eyes. "You already stole her for a week I am not sure while you're asking now" my dad said making bil smile.
