3 | Sleep

You felt a pressure on the other side of the bed. You opened your eyes slowly, trying to focus on the body next to you.

"...Shin?" you questioned as you yawned, "You're home late tonight."

"My father had me help at the hospital," he mumbled.

Since Midorima aspired to be a doctor, he often stayed at the hospital as an intern.

"We didn't move in together for you not to be home," you poited, complaining to yourself.

Your fiance sighed. "[First Name], let's just go to bed."

"No."

"[First Name]."

"Just talk to me until I fall asleep; I haven't seen you all day."

"Fine."

You two spoke about anything and everything, only pausing to yawn.

Wrapped in Midorima's arms, it took all of your might to not fall asleep, since you wouldn't see him at all tomorrow due to classes.

Midorima knew you were about to fall asleep when you stopped talking.

He kissed the top of your head gently. "Goodnight, [First Name]."
