You were sitting in a small cafe with Midorima, sipping on a cup of coffee and snacking on cake pop. Midorima, who looked as if he didn't want to be there, had a cup of green tea ('cause his name has green it it //slapped). You frowned, setting your coffee down and cleared your throat, catching his attention.
"You didn't have to come, you know," you tell him quietly.
"N-no!" he stammered, "I want to be here!"
You grinned. "So when you moaned and groaned about the date before we left, you were really lying?"
Midorima grew flustered. "I said that to make you feel better!"
You rolled your eyes playfully at him before looking around the cafe discreetly. Like the two of you, other couples were here on a date. However, the boy actually looked interested in the girl. It wasn't like Midorima didn't love you; you knew he did. Sometimes he just says the right thing in the wrong way. He's really adorable and fun to tease, so it makes up for his lack of public, and sometimes private, display of affection.
"Shin, where do you want to go?" you asked as you finished off your cake pop.
He crinkled his nose at the crumbs flying out of your mouth, but replied with, "What do you mean?"
"Well," you said, "it doesn't look like you like cafes all too much, so let's go somewhere that you'll enjoy."
"Home," he deadpanned.
"Shin!" you exclaimed, "We are not going home on today's date day! Maybe next week since we'll be busy and we'll only see each other at home...."
As you rambled on, Midorima thought of places he would truly want to go to, which wasn't much.
"Oh!" you chirped, startling him (but he recovered quickly), "Let's go to a basketball court!"
He blinked, and stared at you for a while. "Okay."
You gasped in surprise. "Really?! The almighty tsundere Tsunderima Shin-Shin agreed with me?! The world must be ending..."
He rolled his eyes at you. "Come on, [First Name]. People are staring."

"Where'd you get the ball?" Midorima asked you.
"A woman never reveals her secrets." You winked at him with a giggle, bouncing the ball to him.
Unkowningly to him, you beat up some thugs who were bullying some kids trying to play basketball, and took the so called "thug's" ball. Luckily, Midorima had be in the nearby store using the bathroom.
So you both played basketball for the rest of the day, and you both were happy to finally spend some time with each other (even if Midorima would never admit it).
