_____
Life on the Ark was pretty much Hell in Space. My father hated me, sent me to the delinquent center because I started an uprising against him. Looking back, that was fun as hell.

Everyday that I was in my cell, I was away from him. It didn't matter that they tased me every time I attacked a guard or threw my food at them. It gave me pleasure just knowing that there would be one less guard to protect my father when I came storming down the door to his office. Luckily, I found someone to help me. Someone with similar interests.

Funnily enough, that's how I met the bastard. I saw him standing at the edge of camp, ordering some stray delinquents to their stations.

I was jerked out of my memories when I heard a voice behind me shout, "slut!"

My feet slowed and my heart rate picked up. On the ground, there were no rules. I could beat up whoever I wanted. But, I had to try and reason with them first. And by reason, I mean have a pleasant interaction between my hand and their face.

I turned around slowly, eyeing up the challenger. Average height, disgusting, filthy brown hair, really annoying nose. Punchable face. He fit the requirements.

I swung and let my good arm do the work. Crunch. His nose splattered underneath my fist. The boy cowered back and fell over, clutching his nose with his hand.

So what if I liked to experiment with boys on the Ark? It wasn't like there was much else to do. Besides, what better way to get under my father's skin than to tell him I wasn't a virgin?

The boy inched backwards as a group of other guys huddled around him and heaved him to his feet. "Dirty whore!" He spat between the line of blood that was seeping into his mouth. "I'm not surprised Jaha locked you up! He was probably afraid if he didn't, you'd sleep with the whole council to get them on your side!"

Some of the boys hooted and laughed at the terrible excuse of a comeback. I rolled my eyes lazily. Same insult, different person. You'd think they could come up with something better. The boy was annoyed when he saw I wasn't affected by his vulgar criticism.

"Hey, bitch," he spat, his mouth quirking into a disgusting smirk. "I'm talking to you." I lost my shit. I'll admit it.

I whirled around and kneed him hard where the sun don't shine. He doubled over and I brought my knee harshly up into his already broken nose. Damage? Significant to say the least.

He cried out and fell over. Again. Pathetic. What had they fed these kids in lockup to make them so cocky and alive? I had gotten stale bread and water, if I was lucky. Along with a side of fresh beatings and a cup full of sedatives. Probably for the best.

I slammed the kid's head back into the ground. Really, quite stupid. Too arrogant, and if there was one thing I hated, it was arrogance.

I towered over him, but bent low so he could get the up close and person message. "Try that again and your nuts will be tied in a bow around your head."

The kid's eyes were full of regret. He scampered back and he and his goons took off. I laughed dryly before turning to mind my own business when a tall, not half bad looking guy stepped in my path.

I couldn't help but let out a hefty sigh. What more did I have to do to get to my goddamn tent. Beating up one loser was enough, two? That would just be mean.
