Part 7: the past

The morning came and the boys once again woke up and got ready for class.

Taehyun

While Kai was showering taehyun grabbed soobin and took him to his bed.

"Did you hear about Kai's nightmare last night?" Taehyun spoke quietly trying to keep it between them only.

Soobin shook his head. "No why what happened?"

"I'm not sure he was really shaken up though I feel like there's more to him that none of us know" taehyun pondered.

"I mean we don't really know anything about each other and we've already been here for almost a month" soobin explained.

"Then let's get to know each other" Yeonjun spoke from beside them making both boys jump slightly.

"Jesus Christ Yeonjun" soobin grabbed his chest.

"Well what do you say? Me, you, taehyun, beomgyu and Hueningkai  after school back of the field"

"I mean...sure nothing better to do" soobin agreed.

"I'm in I'm hella curious about why you're all here" taehyun accepted then got up to continue getting ready.

Soobin looked at Yeonjun and smirked. "You can wake him up today" and with that soobin got up from the bed and left.

Classes ran normally and boring as ever today so the moment it was over Yeonjun didn't hesitate to quickly find and gather up his room mates.

They walked over to the far back of the school field while Kai and beomgyu asked questions as to what they were up to.

"Ooo are we going to sneak out!" Beomgyu clapped his hands in excitement when he saw them being lead to the far back of the school.

Yeonjun sat down on the grass and told the rest to make a circle.

"Okay so I've gathered you all here because I want to get to know you all better and I'm sure you all want to know more about me" Yeonjun explained.

"Oh..well what you wanna know" beomgyu became intrigued. All the boys figured beomgyu was the most open since day one.

"Umm okay how about we all start out simple-

"Cut the bullshit we all know the real questions here. Who sent you here and why?" Taehyun smirked.

Yeonjun rolled his eyes. "Way to ease into it taehyun" 

Taehyun shrugged.

"If y'all hadn't guessed my parents are homophobic. They act like they are loving parents but they sent me here to try and fix me. Not that it's going to work" beomgyu chuckled.

"Well since I organised this I guess I'll go next. I guess I'm similar to beomgyu, my parents act like dicks to me however and I do the same back. They sent me here to basically kick me out because they didn't want to deal with a kid who was different." Yeonjun shrugged.

"Damn why do we all have depressing stories." Soobin chuckled.

"Well what about you soobin?" Beomgyu asked.

"Pretty much the same. Me and my dad don't get along and my mum was done picking sides and well here I am." Soobin rolled his eyes.

"Wait you're gay!" Beomgyu widened his eyes.

"Oh Umm no...I'm pan" soobin smiled nervously.

"Ohhh cool cool" beomgyu smiled.

Yeonjun put his hand on soobin knee. "Its okay soobin we all accept you here" 

Soobin blushed and smiled. "Thankyou"

"Okay okay enough of the sap" taehyun rolled his eyes.

"Well what about you tough guy? Why are you here?" Yeonjun tilted his head.

"Well unlike all of you my parents actual give a shit about me. I ran off because I'm a piece of shit child who was done will my town" taehyun smirked.

"H-how could y-you just l-leave your p-parents! W-won't they w-worry" Hueningkai spoke up for the first time.

Taehyun shrugged. "I don't care to be honest"

"Damn respect" beomgyu laughed.

"So what about you mysterious quiet goody goody angel child? Why are you here?" Taehyun raised a brow.

"Oh t-to please m-my mum" Kai smiled.

"And..?" Beomgyu now raised his brow.

"T-that's all"

"Oh come on..."

"Leave it beomgyu if he doesn't want to get into it he doesn't have to." soobin then looked to Kai. "But when or if you're ready we will support and listen to you"

Kai really liked soobin. He was always so kind and gentle. He wanted to stick by him all the times.

"Ugh fine boring can I go now" beomgyu stood up and walked back to the dorms. Taehyun following shortly after.

"Well that went well. I'll see you back at the dorm" Yeonjun turned to Kai and soobin before heading off.

Soobin stood up and gave Kai his hand which he took. Once Kai was now on his two feet he didn't let go.

Soobin looked up at him and smiled. Without another word soobin locked their hands together and they walked hand in hand back to the dorm. 

And just before they entered the room Kai opened his mouth.

"Thankyou."

"For what?" Soobin stopped and looked at the boy.

"For not making me say." Kai smiled. "I appreciate you a lot soobin I hope we can stay friends for a long time."

Kai then kissed soobin on the cheek and walked into their room.

Soobin stopped for a moment to blush and hold his cheek where lips were just placed.
