Part 17: he likes you

Yeonjun, soobin and beomgyu were all off out doing different stuff.

Yeonjun was dancing, soobin was playing music and beomgyu was off playing football. Which left taehyun and Kai in the dorm.

Kai was sat on his bed drawing while taehyun sat on his watching over him.

He was staring at the boys face, the boys delicate hand as he drew, the slight crease of his eyebrows as he focused.

A small smile made its way onto Kai's face as he felt eyes on him.

He turned his head to face taehyun. "What are you doing?"

"Looking at something beautiful" he replied

Hueningkai flushed pink instantly.

"Shut up" he giggled.

Taehyun climbed onto Kai's bed and sat beside him.

"I love watching you draw"

"Really? Why?" Kai smiled as he continued to draw

"Your face looks adorable when you concentrate" taehyun squished his cheeks making him squeal.

"Tyunnie" he giggled as he slapped his hand away.

In the moment taehyun just couldn't seem to think straight. So he leaned in and kissed kai.

And Kai kissed him back.

Taehyun hovered above him as the kissed deepened.

But as their eyes were closed taehyun couldn't see as Kai's hand gripped tightly to the bed sheets.

And only as Kai stopped kissing back and seemed to be breathing heavily did taehyun pull back.

"Are you okay?" Taehyun questioned.

Kai sat up and nodded his head.

"Mhmm. Can I just get back to drawing now?" Kai smiled uncomfortably.

"Sure" taehyun gave a small smile and sat back on his own bed.

Picking up his pen Kai couldn't seem to concentrate anymore.

His mind was thinking about too much at once.

And as tears started to form at his eyes he got up.

"I'm gunna head to the restroom"  and with that he rushed off

And taehyun sat for a moment with his lip between his teeth as he thought of what to do.

Should he tell soobin? Or should he ask Kai if he was okay.

He went with the latter.

Taehyun hopped off his bed and knocked on the bathroom door.

"Huening? Are you alright?"

No response.

"I'm sorry about the kiss I-I just got carried away in the moment I'm really sorry" taehyun leaned his head against the wall as he spoke softly.

"I'm really sorry Kai. Are you okay? Just open the door please" taehyun felt awful.

Then the door opened and taehyun nearly fell through it.

"Woah" he chuckled a little.

"Are you okay?"

"Mhmm I'm sorry it's just..." Kai wondered into the bedroom making sure no one else was here still.

"There's stuff I haven't told you guys... about my past and it's just hard because..."

He took a step closer to taehyun.

"I really like you taehyun. Well at least I think I like you" he spoke shyly.

Taehyun smiled.

Kai made his way to his bed and sat down.

"But it's hard to like people w-when...

"Hey it's okay you don't have to tell me" taehyun sat down beside him

"Whenever you're ready I'll listen it's okay" taehyun smiled sweetly at him.

So Kai leaned over and placed his lips on taehyun's

And just at that moment the door swung open.

"Woah okay"

"S-soobin h-hi" Kai pushed himself off and stuttered at the intrusion.

"You know there's this thing called putting a sock on the door" soobin joked around even though inside he was hurt by the scene.

Kai got up and went into the bathroom.

"Soobin." Taehyun called out as the boy began to walk away further into the room.

"What. You win I guess. He likes you." Soobin shrugged.

"Bin, he likes you too can't you see that" taehyun rolled his eyes.

"He hasn't even kissed me once"

"And he hadn't kissed me first until now" taehyun chuckled.

"Whatever" soobin rolled his eyes as the door swung open once again.

"TAEHYUNNIEEEE COME SHOWER WITH MEEEE!!!" Beomgyu sang as he entered the dorm.

Soobin scoffed as taehyun got up and rushed out of the room with beomgyu.

Kai exited the bathroom Just as the pair left.

"Where'd taehyun go?" He asked

"Wouldn't you like to know" soobin whispered to himself

Kai sighed. "I like both of you okay"

"W-what?"

"I. Like. You. And. I. Like. Tae.hyun." He said slowly.

"B-but you can't like both of us-

"Why not?" Kai raised his brow.

"Well-Umm-I"

"Exactly you can't give me an answer. Now stop being a pouty baby and come cuddle with me" Kai smiled as he climbed into bed and patted the spot beside him.

Soobin blushed and joined him in bed.
