Part 23: shes gone shy

"B-beomgyu?" Yeonjun tapped the boy on his back before he left to go back to the dorms.

"Oh Yeonjun what's up?" Beomgyu smiled as he turned around noticing who it was.

"Do you maybe wanna...go get some food?" Yeonjun bit her lip scared of the response for some reason.

She's so confident yet around beomgyu she feels a little nervous. He's only a roommate. Maybe it was the comment he made about soobin having her when she's in her girl days. She feels closer to beomgyu when she's a woman. But why?.

"Umm sure." Beomgyu nodded his head and began to walk down the hall, Yeonjun rushing to catch up.

"So where shall we go?" Yeonjun smiled shyly.

"I don't know. you asked me" beomgyu shrugged as he carried on walking.

"Well I thought I'd be polite and at least ask you." Yeonjun pouted still walking a slight inch behind the other.

After leaving the school beomgyu seemed to still lead the way until they eventually hit McDonald's.

"Oh. McDonald's" Yeonjun chuckled sadly.

Not exactly the place she was hoping for.

"So what do you want?" Beomgyu asked with a smile.

"Shouldn't we go somewhere else?" Yeonjun sent a nervous smile.

"What is with you today? You're acting so weird" beomgyu laughed as he continued down the road.

"B-beomgyu-

"What. What is it? Stop speaking like you don't know me" beomgyu rolled his eyes stopping in his track not realising now aggressive he was being.

"I-I'm not" Yeonjun halted also.

"I-I'm not" beomgyu imitated. "Yes you are why are you stuttering? You sound like a little girl who's speaking to her crush" beomgyu shook his head and walked off again.

Before stopping not long after.

"Are you speaking to your crush?" Beomgyu raised an eyebrow.

Yeonjun didn't say anything for a few seconds. She wanted the ground to swallow her whole that very moment, every second felt like hours as she thought of what to say. What if she scared him off.

"I just think we could go somewhere more...exciting you know." Yeonjun smiled hiding her true emotions and walked passed beomgyu.

He furrowed his brows as he watched the fiery girl return again.

"Are you coming slow coach?" She giggled.

This time it was beomgyu's turn to trail behind the beautiful girl. He admired the sight while he had the opportunity. I mean he is a guy after all.

"Remember the picnic we had on the school field?" Yeonjuns words brought beomgyu out of his trance.

"Huh? Oh Yh Yh. That was cool" beomgyu nodded his head. The emotions and feelings he had that day came rushing back to him. He'd never done something like that before and it felt good. He felt happy and it sparked something in him.

"Beomgyu?" Yeonjun stopped walking.

If anyone from an outside perspective was watching this they'd think they were playing musical statues or something.

"Shoot?" Beomgyu raised his head ready for a question to be fired at him.

"Did you even want to come out with me today?" Yeonjun looked at the ground in disappointment

Beomgyus heart twang a little and he felt empathy for once.

"Of course I did" he smiled.

"Yh but. Not like yeah sure buddy let's go. More of...forget it" Yeonjun gave up on her words and just carried on walking.

"Yeonjun what's going on with you? I thought we were going for food and now it's getting weird" beomgyu asked seriously. He was confused and he wanted answers.

"Okay. Fine. I wanted to spent time with you alright. I-I think I like you a little. A-and maybe it was because you said you'd give me to soobin when I was a girl and I thought It meant you didn't want me." Yeonjun pouted after ranting.

"Woah." Was all he could say In that moment.

He had to take it all it.

"You like me?" Beomgyu smirked

"Oh shut up" she shook her head with a smile trying to escape her locked lips.

After a moment for silence beomgyu leaned into her. "And I love you girl or boy." He winked as he backed away

She blushed and faced the floor at the response. Beomgyu took her hand and lead her down the road until they stopped at a nice but affordable restaurant.

They flirted occasionally but mostly it was friendly talk. Just two friends having a wonderful day out. And they were both living for it.

Around 9pm they returned to the dorm.

Everyone was in bed when they barged in giggling and holding hands.

They immediately began to whisper as they noticed the lights off.

"Goodnight" Yeonjun whispered with a little giggle.

"Sweet dreams princess" beomgyu kissed yeonjuns cheek and climbed into his bunk.

If the noise and vibrations of the bunk didn't wake taehyun up the fact it was so early in the night did.

It was 9pm for god sake.

None of them were asleep.

Idk how I feel about this one. I wanted it to be cuter but 🤷‍♀️
