Part 16: restaurant

Waking up on a Saturday morning soobin sat down on his bed typing on his phone when taehyun's head appeared beside him.

"Hey, so you wanna go grab some lunch this afternoon?" Taehyun smiled.

"W-what? You want to have lunch with me" soobin gave a look of confusion.

"Mhmm, so what do you say?" Taehyun kept his smile on his face.

"Why aren't you asking Hueningkai?" Soobin rolled his eyes.

"Because I want to take you, I wanna get to know you better" taehyun pushed soobin's chest "come onnn"

"Alright, alright fine"

"Yeyy!" Taehyun giggled and climbed down now ending the conversation.

Soobin sighed to himself but climbed out of bed getting ready for the day.

"Okay but how do you do it?" Beomgyu threw his pencil down on the desk in frustration.

"You just h-have to have patience the m-more you do it t-the better it will "l-look" Kai spoke softly with a smile on his face as he picked up beomgyus pencil and handed it back to him.

"Why are you even helping me? All we do is argue" beomgyu sighed.

Kai shrugged his shoulders. "I'm a n-nice p-person? I wanna help y-you pass art and I love drawing a-anyways it's not g-going out of my way"

Beomgyu nodded his head slowly he took his pencil and began to draw an animal.

"See! It looks awful!" He pouted after finishing his drawing.

"That's b-because you're trying to draw something from m-memory. Why don't you try d-drawing something you can see r-right now. Just look around the room and p-pick something, try to trace it" Kai pointed around the classroom at objects.

"Is that how you draw?" Beomgyu questioned.

"Well I used to. But n-now I'm better at art I learnt to draw from just i-imagination and m-memory" Kai smiled.

"I hate patience. I just want to draw good now" beomgyu pouted harder.

"Come on stop with the p-pouty lips, everyone wants things asap but it d-doesn't work like that" Kai dragged his finger jokingly down his pouted lip making them slap together.

"Fine, how about I draw you!" Excitement grew in his eyes.

"Hmm m-maybe another time, portraits are quite hard to master. H-How about you draw that pen on the desk" Kai pointed to the pen not seeing the smile drop form beomgyus face.

"O-okay" beomgyu nodded his head picking up his pencils and drawing again.

Kai observed his in silence as the boys drawings got better each time.

Soobin and taehyun headed into a quiet restaurant that was warm and cosy, the scent of cooked and baked goods engulfed their nostrils as they entered making their stomachs grumble with hunger.

"Mmmm it smells so good" soobin smiled as he inhaled the scent once again.

"Take a seat I'll get us some menus" taehyun pulled out his chair and grabbed menus from beside them.
