I hated that I had lost my job it was my purpose the reason I had to keep fighting. I don't want others to experience the things I had when I was in Nigeria. Here in the Avengers compound was strange the technology they had was like nothing I had seen before Tony had told me about an AI he had installed around the compound called F.R.I.D.A.Y and said if I needed anything was to ask after my call with the Prime Minister I didn't want to be shown off to everyone here and I knew the only person the wouldn't care would be Natasha so I asked F.R.I.D.A.Y where she was and asked for directions. The AI directed me through the compound and into a gym a room where I saw Natasha effortlessly destroying the holographic enemy's coming towards her. I watched her for a while watching her land perfectly and throw strong punches at the air. Seeing her work this hard with the sweat pouring off her you could tell she had been here a while. I was in awe I had never seen someone fight like that.

After our conversation of me apologising for running her mission when we first met she had to lead me to an elevator to introduce me to everyone. She was quiet but it was a comfortable silence, her breathing and heartbeat filled the air it was rhythmic and calming as we stopped I followed her out and into a sort of common area. There weren't many people in here I had read about everyone through the case files I had studied. As we walked in a couple of people walked over to us. "Nice to meet you, Y/N L/N I believe your Mr Parker? Sargent Barnes and Miss Maximoff." I introduced myself and surprisingly my accent came out stronger, I shook each of their hand and kissed Wanda's which made her blush.

"It's nice to meet you Mr L/N," Peter said "Please call me Peter"

"Bucky is fine by the way Y/N no need for the formality" Bucky replied as he shook my hand.

"It's nice to finally meet to Y/N your accent is a lot stronger than imagined, how are you feeling? I could make you some lunch if you are hungry?" She smiled so brightly it was almost infectious. Almost.

"Thank you, Wanda, that's a lovely gesture but I thought maybe Natasha could continue to show me around the rest of the compound? If you're not too busy Agent Romanoff?" I turned to look at her as she was watching Wanda her eyes looked at me a sparkled just before she looked at Bucky and Peters expressions.

"I was about to jump in the shower but sure I can give you a quick tour, if we see Tony he will probably steal you away to show you something new he is building" she chuckled and headed down the hallway.

"Steal me away, I can't believe I'm growing on you already Natasha" I joke as we walk towards the next room.

She shows me the kitchen where I meet Captin Rogers, Vision who didn't seem best interested in my arrival, Sam and Clint who happens to be Natasha's Best Friend. We walked around the compound showing me all the new training facilities, the library the dining room, meeting area, library and then took to show me the lab, she said I knew where the medical bay was so didn't need a complete tour.

"Y/N, how was the meeting. I forgot to say that suit looks better on you than it did me. Welcome to the lab this is Dr Banner. As Agent Romanoff is here I can guess she gave you the famous tour?"Tony smiled pulling me into his lab.

I looked back at Natasha asking for her help silently she just waved and left I'm guessing to have a shower.

"Dr Banner it's nice to meet you I'm guessing you're the one I should thank for the surgery and everything?" I shook his hand " To answer your question Tony yes Natasha gave me the tour of the compound. The meeting wasn't as successful as I had hoped but nothing I can't handle. Why don't you show me what you're working on?" I say shifting the conversation away from me and onto something according to Natasha he won't stop talking about.

"Well I'm currently modifying my thrusters to give me more power, I want to be able to get to Mach 10 but I can't work out the equation it just sends me flying into the wall. Oh that reminds me we are throwing a party as our guest of honour is now awake from your little coma" he says with a more excited tone to be throwing a party.

"Sounds great Tony but I might need a shower and a new suit if we are going to party?" I laugh and quickly fix his equation.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y. please check that equation?"  *equation successful* "Wow who are you Super smart super strong and I mean your accent how do you not have every woman at your feet right now?" he laughs and pushes you out of the lab and towards the elevator. " I'm thinking a nice burgundy suit will match your hair with I don't know maybe a black shirt" He continues
