"Y/N!!" Shuri screamed as me and T'challa walked off the jet she came sprinting over and wrapped me in a hug before pulling away, I got a hard punch in the side of my arm. "That is for not speaking for a year!" she laughed and pulled me inside. "What happened to you you look like shit" she said as she looked over to me.

"Sister. You can't talk like that." T'challa laughed and apologised to me.

"Its true he looks like he has been hit by a train." she looked at me and stopped walking. "Your limping. And your hunched over. What hurts." she faced me knowing I couldn't lie to her.

"I was on a mission and I met 'the avengers' is what they called themselves. And one of them was about to get shot so I jumped in front of the bullets and one hit my leg my chest and my shoulder. I was in a coma for 2 months apparently" I laughed as we kept walking towards the lab.

"Forever the White Knight" she rolled her eyes as we kept walking. "You're going to kill yourself doing that one day." she pulled open the lab door and walked to a bed off to the side. "Lay down you should have healed by now. I'll check you over and see if there is something I can do" I laid down on the bed with her walking over to a holographic screen. "Who fixed you up? Don't tell me it was Bruce?" she laughed.

"Wait hold on. You know these guys?!" I said as I sat up. She walked over to me with a hologram in her hand and pushed my head down with her free one.

"Stay still. Yes we know them. In sure he did his best. Stay still this will hurt but your be back to normal in 3 days" she said as she cut me open and pulled out some small shards of metal still inside my leg and shoulder. "I want to see this suit of yours, so that this doesn't happen again" she said pointing at me led on her table. I rolled my eyes and threw my leather cuff at her with my good arm. "Leather really? I didn't think you where into bracelets." she laughed and stitched up my wounds nicely and gave me a sling and a crutch. "Use that or I'll kill you myself"

"Yes Boss." I laughed and slowly made my way over to her. "It wasn't my choice, a guy back MI8 made it with nanotec it was this or a necklace like your brothers," I said as I started to pull up some data on the hologram screen. "You know I have missed being in the lab with you." I said lightly as I pulled up some old pages on the Knighhood. T'challa walked in to the lab and smiled at us both.

"Brother, why do you have your toes out in my lab." Shuri said as she looked over at the smiling King.

"They are my sandals" he said as he looked down at his feet. I just laughed at the pairs back and forth. "I see you're settling back in well Y/N. You already let her cut you open and some surgery? You have been back 5 minutes." he said as he looked back at his sister disapprovingly "I wanted to see the suit, before my sister changes it completely" I laugh as Shuri rolls her eyes. She places the bracelet onto a mannequin and taps it, the suit appears on the body of it with it's tight black body with the signature white hood.

"Talk about Signature. I see you kept the white hood design. But I don't like the rest" Shuri said as she looked over the suit walking around it. "Where do you put the sword" she looked over at me with a quizzical look.

"No sword, your can't exactly hide one in the middle of London very well" I laugh "I haven't used one since I left I can imagine I am a little under practised" I sat down watching the king and his sister look over at me like I had just lost my mind. "What?"

"You never once left your sword anywhere. I think you slept with it next to you when you first got here Y/N" T'challa said as he walked over to me. "You have had a long day my friend mabye you should rest and we ill find the knighthood in the morning" he placed his hand on my shoulder looking over at the screen behind me. He pulled me up and walked me to a spare room and left me to get some rest.

{Morning}

I slowly made my way into the shower and looked over at my healing stitches and was careful to not harm them. The stitches were healing easily and quickly Shuri was a genius. As I got changed into the robes T'challa had left me, I made my way back to the lab where Shuri was sat throwing files around and pulling up new document. It was actually fun to watch her as she worked so effortlessly.

"Your awake, have you eaten? No didn't think so there is coffee and and some fruit behind you. Eat and then you can help me." She said without looking up and without stopping. "Also quit staring"  I couldn't help but laugh. I did as I was told and ate the food she had put on the side as well as pouring out some coffee for her I walked over with them both. "How is your leg I see your no longer limping." she said as she too the coffee from my hand.

"Better thank you, have you found anything about this knew chess piece that appeared yesterday?" I said as she pulled up some articles on the hood I saw in my apartment yesterday. His suit was identical to my old one, pure black with with belt around the middle with his sword in place.

"There have been attacks everywhere across the globe the last 2 months. All United Nations members, with the same slash across the chest that we found you with in that pile of rubble a year ago. I'm going to guess we are after the same man that was meant to kill you." she said harshly as she looked me over knowing I didn't want to think of the day they had rescused me.

My mind started to flash back to that day. With the gun in my hand raised to person in front of me I was ordered to kill. Every part of me refused. I couldn't kill and innocent, it wasn't in my DNA. I lowered the gun and immediately after. The scar faced man charged into the room. I shot him in the head as I pulled off the hood if the person in front of me. He was a young kid who looked terrified. I untied him and told him to stay close. We made our way out if the small room and down a dark corridor. A few men came at us with wepons drawn and as I disarmed them and knocked them out I had to set the boys in the rooms free I opened the door as the followed be hind be with the 9 boys behind me I fought my way through the dark and wet building as we got to the exit I pushed them outside "run boys. Don't go home but find a new one they can't hurt you now" I slamed the door after they where all out the building. I pulled out a a gun from one of the men at my feet. I needed to shut down the knighthood. I was making light work clearing the building and trying to make my way to the file room. When a black hooded figure appeared in front of me. "You failed. You where meant to be the next Black Knight. You where weak and became the White Knight. A failed, weak warrior with no potential. Your sacrifice will be in the name if the Knighthood." he pulled out his sword after shooting my knees I fell to the floor and he sliced down my chest. I fell to the floor bleeding out. I lost consciousness as the building collapsed around me.

"Y/N?" Shuri said waving a hand in frount of my eyes. "You know that day only made you stronger" she placed her arms around me and hugged me. As she let go I stood quietly as she explained what she had found. I was looking down at my hands.

I traced the cross on my wrist.
