Question after Question

Your pov.

"Your body is very resilient I'm not going to lie, the modifications don't do a huge amount to what you can already do, however, the sword missed your heart if crushed your sternum, so we had to replace it. Your lung was also punctured, so we fabricated a new one out of specialised tissue. So you might have some more air in you than before. Other than that you some how dodged death all over again." Bruce said from the back of the room, he was so quiet I didn't even realise he was there before.

"At least we match now Lieutenant." Bucky says making me laugh.

"So Party?!" Tony jumps to his feet and everyone nods. "To the compound! I take our royals will be attending?" he says raising his eyebrows nudging Shuri. She rolls her eyes and pushes everyone out the door to the Quinjet. I stayed frozen on the couch, I had been through so much hell, and at the end of it all after dying how ever many times. I come out the other side and I don't have anything to show other than some scars and now a metal chest. My head in my hands I didn't even realise Nat had never left my side.

"Whats on your mind?" Her voice broke me out of my daze as her hands moved to my face pulling me to face her beautiful sparkling eyes. I couldn't speak, I didn't know what was going on in my own mind to answer that. "Thank you for coming home" she whispered.

"We have a date to go on darling, of course I came back to you. I have everytime right?" I smiled she placed a small kiss onto my lips before smiling herself.

"Everytime since the day we met. You came back to set me free, you found me again after that night, you came to protect me in that hydra base, you some how fought your way back from death. I mean I know I'm good, but I didn't know I was that good" Her smirk grew on her face her eyes glinted they would put stars to shame.

"We have a party to get to darling." I smiled pulling her up from the chair as we walked out to the jet.

"Take your time Lancelot!" Tony shouts as we make it out to the jet.

"Brother the party is for me! I died and came back 100 time ill take as much time as I want!" Tony rolled his eyes. He mumbled to himself setting up in the cockpit, next to Steve.

"Thank you for you know, saving my ass. I wouldn't be here without you" I whispered to Wanda as me and Nat sat down next to her.

"Well what can I say? Your just lucky to have me as a friend" She laughed nudging my shoulder.

"So Peter up for thoes lessons on sword fighting?" i looked over at the little spider that had been dying to ask me questions ever since I stepped out the lab. He looked like he was going to explode. "Tony! Did you tell the Kid not to talk?! He looks like he's going to burst?" I laugh and Peter goes bright red.

"Fine Peter ask your questions, BUT ONE AT A TIME!" Tony shouts from the front.

"Thanks, Mr Stark! I would love to, so umm first question. Now that you know your a stark will you change your last name? Ooh now that your apart of the family does that mean your become and avenger? Oh and How does it feel to have a cool metal chest? And will you be living at the compound with the other avengers?" Peter spat all of his words out losing his breath as he spat every word out of his mouth.

"Kid breath! I mean I found out I was a Stark's about half hour ago, I haven't even had a chance to process that. On the avengers part I still don't know yet. It's weird having a metal chest I won't lie it still hurts around the edges when I laugh or breath but just need time to get used to it. I don't know about living at the compound yet either kid. Any more questions?" I ask knowing I'm probably going to regret this.

"No! Peter he needs to rest, ask him all his questions another day when he can actually answer them." Nat snaps and the poor boy that just looks at the ground, a little embarrassed of the super spy telling him off.

"Sorry Peter. Didn't mean to get you in trouble." I smiled at him but the glare I got from nat almost killed me.

The rest of the journey was quick after all the questions, Steve had told me he had got my swords back and how him Bucky and Maria had gone back to the 'death zone' they called it which Wanda and Nat didn't appreciate shutting them up completely.

As we left the jet the others went inside Tony and Peper pulled me back before I could go inside. "About what Peter said. I would love it if you wanted to take the Stark name, and you know you could always work with me. Big brains and all. Runs in the family. I also already set up a room for you in the compound. The wardrobe is full and, I decorated it too if you don't like it we can always change it." Tony said placing a hand on my shoulder, it's weird even though I'm older he's acting like the big brother. "As for the avengers, you have more than enough qualities and skills. The world would be lucky to have you. I can see up a press conference to announce you joining whenever you want." Pepper added pulling me into a hug.

"Im grateful to call you both my family, thank you Tony give me time to think over the name. Thank you Pepper ill let you know" I kissed her cheek and head off inside of the building I now called home.
