Your pov.

My eyes fly open. Bright light blinding me. I feel pain fly through my body, I can feel a tube in my throat, everything hurts and I'm struggling to breathe, Wandas hair and face appear in front of me. Her eyes blood shot but the sweet smile on her lips met her eyes showing joy through the tears. My eyes closed again.

I opened my eyes again but the surrounding where different, the lab I'm in now, looks more modern bigger, I didn't have a tube in my throat, the sounds of a light beeping matching my heart beat. Their where quiet voices sounding in the distance muffled like they where in another room. I moved to sit up, the blanket covering me fell down to revel a metal plate embedded in my chest made of black vibranium, some of my skin covering it at the top sides and bottom. It covered my sturum, probably where the sword had gone through me. It looked kinda badass, there where white cracks through it, you can tell Toni and Shuri designed and made it. My head ached and my throat was dry. I swung my legs around the side of the bed I was led on and grabbed a pair of shorts from the side my legs weak so walked slowly to the sound of the voices. I couldn't make out who's voiced they where. My hand traced the metal plate as I walked, it's weird but what's not weird about my whole life.

The lab door opened as I got there, Tony was stood with everyone in the corridor. "We had to add modifcations to keep him alive, but hopefully he will wake up soon." Tony's voice spoke to the group with Shuir by his side. "What do you mean modifications?" Natasha voice split through the crowd, the angry tone in her voice clear.

"So what did I miss?" I choak from my dry throat. Everyone face snapped to mine, their jaws dropped as I stood in the corridor, in a pair of shorts the new metal on show in my chest. Natasha and Wanda pushed past everyone, and wrapped their arms around me. They pulled back I had a slap from one side if my face and then the other. Gasps rippled through the group behind us, with laughs from Shuri and Tony. "Nice to see you both too" I winced as I chuckeld placing my hand on my chest. "Fucking die on us again, and you will have no balls left" Natasha death glared me crossing her arms. "I told you to use your earpiece asshole." Wanda said as her eyes flashed red. I step back from them holding my hands up in surrender.

"Okay girls enough, I lost count of how many times my brother died. Let's not add another to that list." Tony steps forward, chuckling to himself.

"Hold on? Brother?" I said lowering my arms. Extremely confused. "Okay so I have clearly missed a hell of a lot, so before we start. I need a drink."

"No alcohol for you!" Shuri says "Make sense how your a Stark" she laughs and head into the lab and grabs a water bottle and a t-shirt. "Come on, dumbass" She pulls me into a common room opposite the lab and we all sit down on some couches. Wanda and Nat on either side of me.

"So, starting off... After your stupid little showdown, you went and got your self killed. Luckily for you, Shuri put a heart rate monitor on your ring and screamed at Tony to go get you." Steve said as Bucky sat next to him.

"So me and T'challa arrived at the compound as Tony was flying your dead ass back for us to save you. We had managed to get you stable after a 12-hour surgery thankfully. Your suicidal ass decided that you would keep testing your limits." Shuri was not best impressed as she explained her part of the story.

"The smart guys couldn't work out what was going on with you so, I had to read your mind. You were throwing yourself into all of your past trauma, back from where you're were a kid. Up to the point the black knight stabbed you. Which then caused your body to flat line. It would happen in a 20-minute time loop." Wanda continued while looking over at me and biting her lip as I opened and shut my mouth again.

"So you put a fake future in my head asking me to wake up?" I asked the question about what I had seen.

"Yeah I wasn't sure if you were going to, none of us was. So after you opened your eyes back at the compound. We transferred you here. Tony?" Wanda looked over at Tony to continue the wild hell I had been through. She leaned her head on my shoulder as Nat took my hand from beside me.

"Okay so don't freak out... After we got you here, Shuri and I have to take your blood and fix part of your body..." He started looking at me taking a deep breath. "God now I need a drink."

"Tony!" Pepper smacked him from behind.

"So we tested your blood after Wanda had told us what she has seen. Testing it showed you had a similar DNA structure to me... You were a bastard child of the one and only Howard Stark, he placed you in an orphanage halfway across the world in your mother's name so no one would find out about you. So that makes me your long lost half brother..." My jaw just hit the floor, after not thinking I had any family. I suddenly had one, and I mean it hurt it was exciting it was what I wanted years ago. I stood up and walked over to Tony quickly my eyes flashing blue to check if he was lying Nat and Wanda pulled me back thinking I would hit him. I shook them off and pulled Tony into a hug. "You're still a big-headed prick." I let go of him and sat back down next to Wanda and Nat. "So these modifications?" I tapped the metal in my chest making me laugh out my next words.

"What do they do other than look cool?"
