I logged on to Twitter and had no notifications, as usual. I had about 1,500 followers but most of them followed a lot of other people so they didn't really see any of my tweets. I scrolled through my timeline but soon got bored with it. I then logged on to Instagram where my only friend from home was spamming my dms telling me to reply to her messages.

Once I went through my Instagram timeline, I decided to check my messages to see what's so urgent. The message said, "Do u wanna go to the mall tonight? My mom will only let me go if I bring a friend." I responded, "can't sorry"

She quickly responded, "Your dad being an ass again? Just sneak out"

"I can't meet up with you because I ran away. I just couldn't take it anymore. I came to LA to see if I could find my birth parents. I'm gonna check it out tomorrow. Sorry I didn't tell you I was running away, it was spur of the moment"

"It's fine. It needed to be done. Just stay safe, don't do anything stupid and keep me updated. Gotta go now, my mom's yelling at Joe and Zach and something tells me I'm next. Bye Charlie!"

"Bye Katie!"

"Who are you texting?" Deryck asked, looking over my shoulder, causing me to jump and fall off the ground. I laid there for a second, recovering before getting back on the couch.

"Oh, just my friend Katie. She wanted to go to the mall but her mom only lets her go with me so she was bothering me about that. I then just told her I ran away and she told me to stay safe."

"Oh, okay" Deryck replied. "Just making sure it wasn't your step father"

"Nope, we're good for now. Now, if you don't mind, I'm gonna sleep, I'm pretty wiped and we have a big day tomorrow" I said, now addressing the group.

I got a chorus of "night Charlie" in return, so I figured it was okay to leave now.

Cone's POV

As soon as Charlie left, we all started talking about her. None of it was bad at all, it's just rude to talk about someone when they're standing right there, no matter how nice.

"So. Charlie" Steve said, breaking the awkward silence that followed her exit.

"I like her a lot. She so friendly and nice. She's not crazy and she can joke around a lot and can take a joke. She's also really thin" Deryck said, glancing at me at the last part. "I really hope she is your biological child and she can become part of the Sum 41 family. She'd be a nice addition."

"Yeah. I agree. I just wish she'd talk to me more, but I mean you did take her here when she fainted and you are most likely her real father, so I'm gonna give her some time" Stevo said.

"Yeah, me too, but then again, I haven't really said anything to her, I'm giving her some time to take it all in" Brown Tom replied.

"Yeah. I really hope she's my daughter. She's really awesome and I want to give her a proper childhood, one she never had." I said and the conversation died off.

"Well, I'm going to bed" I told everyone after a few minutes of silence, everyone was thinking. "Like Charlie said, its a big day tomorrow."
