Chapter 23 - Frantic

Iwa felt like he was losing his mind, how could he lose the boy who he believed to be his soulmate after just a few months. Before he knew it he started to hyperventilate and everything started to spin and then go black. He woke up a few minutes later and was surrounded by the gang of boys. "Iwa, Kuroo said,"they want you to go to the hospital so that they can check you over."

Iwa jumped up and yelled, "I'm not going anywhere until they find Kawa. Have they even started looking for him yet?" " No they're just questioning everyone to see if they can get any leads, Kuroo replied.

The spiky haired boy put on his jacket and picked up a torch and walked away from the house. "Iwa where are you going man?" Bokuto shouted. " I am going to search for my boyfriend before it's too late. Sakusa shouted, "Iwa, we're coming with you". All of the other boys caught up. "Do you think that we should split up and look for him and then we can cover more ground, Kenma asked. The boys all split into two's so Iwa joined Sakusa and Atsumu.

The boys checked every bush, building and area around the house but after an hour they still hadn't located him. Sakusa's phone began to ring...

SAKUSA - Hello

DAICHI - Have you found him yet

SAKUSA - No man, how's Suga

DAICHI - He woke up on the way to the hospital but he's inconsolable.  He just keeps crying and asking for Kawa. The doctors want him to stay in over night as he has a concussion but he says he is leaving to look for Kawa.

SAKUSA - Tell him that he needs to stay there if he has a concussion

IWA - Can I talk to him please

SAKUSA - Of course man. Daichi I'm putting Iwa on the phone he wants to speak to Suga

Daichi gave the phone to Suga

SUGA - Iwa , he says sobbing, I'm sorry, I didn't even see him. He hit me from behind

IWA - Suga, please don't blame yourself, there was nothing you could have done. Promise me that you'll stay at the hospital and let the doctors check you out. Kawa would be angry if he thought that you were going to put your health in danger. Me and the boys are looking for him and as soon as we find him I'll call you.

SUGA - OK, he said weakly, please ask him to call me when you find him.

IWA - I promise I will now go and rest

Both boys put the phone down and Atsumu gasped, "I've just remembered he called Kawa a slut and said that he had been watching you guys. Do you think that he has taken him to the playground where you had your first date?"

Iwa's eyes widened and he began to run towards the playground with the other two boys closely following behind. All of a sudden they heard a blood curdling scream, it was Kawa. Iwa sped faster and then he saw Tanji straddling Kawa with his hands around his neck. Iwa charged right at the boy and ended up rolling over on top of him. The spikey haired boy was enraged and began punching Tanji over and over again.

The police arrived at the area and had to forcibly remove Iwa from Tanji as it looked like he was going to beat the boy to death. They threw Tanji into the police car and drove off leaving two policemen and an ambulance for Kawa.

Iwa then heard a voice that made his heart beat faster. It was very hoarse but unmistakably Kawa's, " Iwa chan you came for me, I didn't think that I would ever see you again", the boy said tearfully.

"I told you babe that I would never let anyone hurt you again, I'm just sorry it took us so long to find you." Kawa was then placed in the ambulance as it was obvious that his arm was broken, he had bruises around his throat and his head was still bleeding. Iwa got in it with him and they rushed off. Iwa rang Daichis phone. "Daichi, could you please put Suga on the phone", Iwa put his phone against Kawa's ear gently. Suga took Daichi's phone and answered, " please tell me you've found him" he was sobbing uncontrollably. "Suga, Kawa said in a hoarse voice, I'm OK they found me and I'm on the way to the hospital so I'll see you in a little while". Both boys cried but they were happy tears.

Iwa just held the boy in his arms, he didn't want to let him go and was planning to stay with him forever. He kissed his nose and said, "I love you so much babe, I was terrified that I'd lost you forever". " I love you too Iwa chan, more than anything.
